"what's on today's wedding or baby to-do list?" noah asked, as i walked into the kitchen. "um, i'm actually not sure, i have several ideas let m-" i said being cut off by noah. "of course you do. let's hear them" he said pouring me a cup of coffee. "i was trying to but you freaking cut me off dude." i said looking at my phone, "number one, we have a doctors appointment at 12. Then after we know what this little thing is, we can go get paint and maybe furniture to decorate the nursery, and then i will be making a huge purchase of baby clothes tonight.. just so you're prepared for that one. OH, also we need to call that lady back about the wedding venue, before it gets booked up. I need to send out invitations soon so that people actually show up to this thing." i said. "so i'm not even gonna have time to eat today basically." noah said eating some cereal. "good thing you're eating now." i said, putting my hand in his hair and kissing his temple. "Also, good morning." i said. "good morning baby, and other baby." he said placing his hand on my stomach. I went to the fridge to make myself en eggo, but there was an empty box in there. "looks like i need to go to the grocery store also." i said. "you know you still have 6 months to do all of this baby stuff, we need to have food for like today..." he said. i laughed, " i know, i'm just gonna be so excited when we find out today." i said. "i am too. i hope it's a boy." he said. "you know what, i kinda do too." i said. "what if there's multiple?" he asked. panic set in , and sweat was on my forehead. "stop. im already scared about giving birth to one." i said. I gave up on breakfast and went to the bedroom to get ready for the day.

I walked into the closet, and looked around. Definitely dress cute so that i can post a picture on instagram later. i decided on a white free people tank top, jeans, and a bone colored cardigan. Slipping on some brown booties, and some fun earrings. I did some loose curls on my hair and did some makeup. By the time i was done, noah was digging around in the closet looking for an outfit. "you need help?" i asked. "i mean what do you wear to this kind of thing?" he asked. "nothing special baby. Just whatever you want!" i said. he looked flustered. "You look pretty." he said finally turning around and looking at me. "thank you, you can wear ripped jeans and a band shirt and air force 1's. that's still nice, it's not sweatpants." i said. "that sounds good. comfortable, because im sweating already." he said putting on his jeans. "stop sweating! everything's fine." i said.

After we got dressed, we started the 30 minute drive to the doctor's office. I dialed the number for the lady at Newhall mansion, that's where we wanted the wedding to be at.

"Hey, my names Lawson Riley. You called me yesterday about scheduling my wedding there, apparently there was an opening for the day we wanted." i said. "yes lawson hi! i'm Rachel im the wedding planner slash scheduler slash everything you'll need around here. You were looking at the 24th of November right, thats 3 months away?" she asked. "yes ma'am. Around 4:30 or 5 that day."i said. "We had an opening for that day, we can do that time also, we should be able to get everything switched over from the previous wedding by that day. Are you wanting to rent out the top floor for getting ready?" she asked. "yes ma'am. If that's okay." i said. "of course that's okay, it's your wedding day." she said. i smiled, that's crazy to think about honestly. she was doing some typing, i could hear it through the phone. "and the deposit we would need before in about a month would be half of your final cost, so let's say $5,500" she said. "sounds perfect, do we need to drop that by personally? or can we send a check in the mail or which way do y'all prefer?" i asked. "either one, whatever is easiest for you guys." she said. "okay! we can drop it by, it's honestly not that far from us." i said. "sounds perfect, i think those are all of my questions if i need anything else, i'll just text you from my personal phone." she said. "perfect, thank you so much." i said. " thank you guys, talk soon, bye!" she said. "bye" i said. hanging up the phone.

"yay! we can finally start all the other planning." i said. "that's a weight lifted off our shoulders. how much is the deposit?" he asked. "uhh, i don't think you wanna know." i said. "just tell me." he said. "$5,500." i said. "honestly, not as bad as i thought." he said. Within a few minutes, we pulled into the doctor's office.

We walked inside and waited for our time to be called. "Lawson, you can come back now." a nurse said stepping out into the lobby. Me and Noah stood up and started walking behind the nurse. she brought us to the first open room, "the doctor will be in, in just a few. you can put that paper gown on while you wait. " she said. "thank you." i said. she smiled and closed the door on her way out. i took off my clothes and put the paper gown on. Laying down on the table, and pulling the blanket up, so i wasn't exposed. me and noah didn't talk, i think we were both too nervous. The doctor came in not too long after, breaking the silence. "Who's excited?" she said. "i would say i'm a little nervous also." i said. noah shook his head. "don't be nervous!! this is the fun part. Have you had any issues?" she asked. "no, it's been pretty smooth sailing." i said. "that's awesome. i'm gonna put this jelly on your stomach, and the image will show up on the screen and we'll be able to see the sex of the baby." she said. "sounds good." i said, noah stood up and stood beside me and held my hand. she put the jelly on my stomach and within a few minutes the image was on the computer screen. I smiled, and looked up at noah. "well guys, it looks like its a boy." she said. "oh my gosh, look how cute he is." i said. I looked up at noah and he had a tear falling from his eye. I smiled. "Congratulations you guys." she said. "thank you" me and noah said in unison. "i'm gonna print you out some sonogram pictures, and then you guys will be good to go." she said.
