*alarm clock rings*

I quickly opened my eyes and smiled. It was finally the end of the school year! I was super excited to go back home since I live in our schools dormitory.

I excitedly climbed down the double deck, but trying to be quiet because my dorm mates are still sleeping. I mean, it was 5:30 in the morning. I had to be early since the train to go back home is on 7:00.

All my stuff, like bedsheets and other heavy materials were sent back home the day before yesterday, leaving me with only my phone, and other day to day things. I quickly shoved them all in my tote bag, wore my socks and shoes.

I was about to go out when I saw myself in the full body mirror near the door.

Oh right. I was still in my pajamas.

I put down my tote bag and quickly changed to a comfortable sweatshirt and jogger pants. Don't judge my style, it was the only clothing I had left.

I put my pajamas on a plastic and put it in the bag.

I left a little note on the table saying I had already left, and went out the door.

I am now waiting for the train to arrive. My parents thought I'll go home tomorrow, but I didn't want to miss my moms' birthday.

I went inside the train, and was relieved the train isn't fully packed. I sat and plugged in my earphones, listening to kpop songs.

I was so happy, I had a smile on the whole train ride.

Finally reaching my destination, I unplugged my earphones and went out.

As soon as I got out, the non-city air touched my skin. I missed this air. Call me weird but the smell of fresh air is really soothing. And it has been a while since I felt this air.

I walked out the station and saw an ice cream stand.

I ran to the stand and greeted the old man selling the ice cream.

"I would like to have a cookies and cream flavored ice cream." I said, cheerfully.

The old man smiled and started scooping the ice cream.

I paid for it and said thank you, smiling at the old man.

My house wasn't far away, so I decided to walk while enjoying my ice cream.

I took a few selfies and pictures of my ice cream, to post on my instagram. Then I watched a live by J-hopes sister.

Almost reaching my house, I turned of my phone and put it in my bag. I was almost gonna knock on the door but I heard laughter at the backyard.

I went to the backyard and saw that they were celebrating my moms birthday. I went ahead and opened the backyard gate and shouted,

"How could you guys celebrate without me!" I said, crossing my arms and pretended to look mad.

They all just looked at me in silence.

"Just kidding!" I said and ran to the table quickly reaching my hand out to get some onigiris.

But my hand was quickly swatted by my mom, "go wash your hands first young lady."

"owkay my dear motherrrr" I replied and went inside the house to wash my hands.
