It was now 3 in the afternoon. All the guests have left (pandemic does not exist here) and I'm helping my mom fix the backyard. My dad got an important call from his job so he left already.

"Y/N, please finish cleaning the rest. My meeting starts at 3:20 so I have to go now. If you have any problems, go to the neighbor. We're really great friends so don't be shy to knock on their door when you have a problem. Okay?" My mom spoke.

I looked at my mom, "Okay mom. Please bring home some donuts thanks!" I replied and continued wiping the table.

After cleaning the backyard, I went back inside the house and changed my clothes. I took my phone, made myself an orange juice and went to the backyard. I was chatting with my friends when a ball hit my orange juice, causing it to spill.

I quickly looked at where the ball came from and I saw a boy running to come get it.

And oh my holy, he looks handsome.

The sweat dripping from his forehead to his ne-

What the hell Y/N? He spilled your orange juice. It was the only one left!

"Could you please pass the ball back over here? Thank you!" He asked from outside the fence.

I stood up and said, "Not until you replace my orange juice."

He looked at me with a questionable expression.

I pointed to my side and he tilted his head, seeing the broken glass and a dark brown patch on the wooden floor, from the spilled orange juice.

He put his hand at the back of his head and smiled awkwardly.

"I'm sorry for spilling your juice. I'll replace it later, I don't have any money on me right now."

As a great person, I decided to just give back the ball back to him and stayed silent.

He took the ball, "I'm very sorry." He said while bowing, and running back to where he came from.

I went ahead and threw the shattered glass on the garbage.

It was now 7 PM and my parents were still gone. They texted me saying that they might end up going home late and told me not to bother waiting for them to arrive.

I was sitting on my bed, having a video chat with my best friend when I heard a rock hitting my bedroom window. I ended the video call with my bestfriend and went to the window.

I opened my curtain a little, enough for my eyes to see where the rock came from, and saw the same boy earlier.

I went to the backyard and did not let him in. Who knows? He might have a knife on him or whatever.

"Here's a replacement for your orange juice." He said, reaching his hamd out with the orange juice. "I'm not sure if this is the same juice, but I hope it's okay."

"I was only joking earlier, but thank you." I said and took the juice from his hands.

"Oh. It's fine. I almost forgot about it but I saw someone drinking orange juice on my way home so I remembered the incident earlier." He said, smiling a little making his eyes almost disappear.

"Anyways, I hope I made up for my mistake earlier! I have to go now."

I just waved goodbye and he started walking away.

I went back inside the room, leaving the juice on my bedside table.

I felt hungry so I went to the kitchen to see if there's any food. Being too lazy to cook, I decided to eat some leftovers from my mom's birthday earlier and watched Netflix on the living room.

About 2 hours have passed and I just finished washing the dishes. Feeling tired, I decided to take a warm shower before I sleep.
