The sound of a loud banging on my door and a noisy vacuum rang through my ears causing me to wake up.
I stood up and opened the door. "What is it mom?"
"Today's grocery day!" My mom said, with a smile. I seriously think my mom is addicted to grocery shopping.
"Um. Okay? What do you want me to do?"
"I can't come to the grocery today, I have to finish the house chores and go to your dad's office." My mom replied while fixing the vacuum.
"Could you please run the groceries and a few other errands for me today?"
"Okay mom, I'll do it later." I quickly replied and closed the door, jumping back on my bed. It was still 7 AM and I feel tired.
Closing my eyes, I suddenly remembered something from last night.
—Last Night—
"Have you ever had a relationship?" I asked Akaashi.
"Why? Have you taken interest with me?" The boy replied with a teasing smirk on his face.
"What?— No! I'm just, curious." I replied, smacking his shoulders.
"I actually never had a relationship..."
"But if I did, then I probably chose the wrong person to be with." He continued.
"What do you mean?"
"Because it wasn't you." He whispered, but loud enough to make you hear it.
You were taken aback by what he said. What does he mean by 'it wasn't me?' does he like me? did I meet him before? when? where? and how? what?
My head was getting bombed by questions and I started to think of random things.
"Kidding!" The boy interrupted, while laughing. "You should've seen your face!" He laughed.
Although it wasn't funny, I found myself laughing with him.
—End of Flashback—
After an hour or more of daydreaming and having a staring contest with the ceiling, I finally decided to get up. I went downstairs to the kitchen to eat breakfast- or should I say, lunch.
As I sat on the kitchen stool, I saw the list of groceries my mom wanted me to buy, with the money next to it. It also read, "I added some extra money for you to buy something you want. I'll be home at night, so you don't have to wait for me and your dad."
//TIME SKIP TO THE SUPERMARKET BECAUSE I'M TOO LAZY TO WRITE ANYTHING ELSE //
"Olive oil, soy sauce, ketchup...and that's it!" I said, gathering the last items written on the list.
I went to the cashier, and thankfully the line wasn't long. While waiting, I decided to browse on my phone for a while. I continued watching my current anime series on Netflix until I was the second in line.
After paying, I went straight to the stationery shop to buy things that I won't use (oops) Let's all be honest, we end up buying things we don't need because they're pretty or cute.
After a few hours of going around the mall, I decided to eat dinner here as well. I went inside KFC since it was the closest to where I was.
As I was about to go in, I felt my phone vibrate. I took it put of my bag and saw that my mom messaged me.
Mom :-)
Mom:
Y/N, pack your things.
We're leaving in 3 days.:Y/N
What? Why?Mom:
Ask that to your dad.
We'll be living with your
grandparents in the Philippines.
Tell your boyfriend about it.:Y/N
Please explain everything
at home. And he's just a friend.seen
'we're leaving.' I was buried in my thoughts of what could be the reason we have to leave suddenly. And why is it so soon?
Just as I was almost entirely consumed by my unwavering thoughts,
"Y/N!" I heard someone call my name.
I looked to where the sound came from and, "Keiji?!"
