Four's pov
I run as fast as I can but then the walls are moving closer and closer towards me. Then the ceiling starts coming down and I'm trapped all I can do is scream, so I do.
End of nightmareI wake drenched in sweat, and my finger tips bleeding, I must have bit them in my sleep. I glance at my clack and notice it's 7:02, so I get out of my bed and walk to my bathroom to take a cold shower to numb my back from last nights beating. Before I take of my shorts I look at my back in the mirror its still got cuts and bruises, which makes me think I don't I've ever seen my back without it being swollen, cut, or bruised, now if I did. It would be covered in scars from all the times Marcus has beat the sense out of me for no reason. I quickly take off my shorts and boxers and step in the shower. The water is already on cold, I turn on the water and wash my hair well letting the ice cold water numb my back. I always love cold showers because they really help me clear my mind, which is especially important for today because I'll be going to a new school, divergent high school Marcus will a principal at. I'm not sure what I think of the name, but I'm kind of ready for a new start even this will be my last year at the high school.
I get out of the shower and grab a towel and dry my self off quickly but I have to carefully dry off my back because of all the cuts and the bruises from Marcus, and how brutally he beats me and I don't even know why he does which is the part that annoys me the most sometimes. I open the bathroom door and walk in to my room which is connected to the bathroom and another room which I use for working out, which is kind of nice and it's a good way to stay away from Marcus. I walk to my closet and open the door, I grab a black shirt, a pair black jeans, and my new black and red nike elite socks. After grabbing my clothes I get dressed first with my pants and before i put on my shirt I grab my silver cross necklace my mom gave me a few weeks before she died. I slip the necklace around my neck and put on my shirt and some cologne. Next I look in the mirror again even though I've always end hated looking at my self because I look a lot like Marcus, although I do have my moms hooked nose and her cheek bones and strong jawline. Then again I have my dads hair color and his blue almost black eyes.
I walk down the stairs even though it's only 7:27 and I have to be at school at 8:45 or at latest 9:00. Once I'm on the main level I head to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. I look through the cupboards for something to make, then I look in the fridge, all I see is eggs bacon vegetables, sandwich ,eat, jelly, juice, milk, water bottles, fruit and other things I wouldn't eat. I decide to grab the bacon an eggs. Well I'm cooking the bacon I hear Marcus coming down the stairs, I take a deep breath and prepare myself for the worst. out of instinct I move quickly around the kitchen and finish making my breakfast. "Good morning Tobias I'll be going now", he says as he pours his coffee. "Ok", I reply plainly using no emotion in my words. Once Marcus leaves I eat my food not bothering to sit down though because I've never really liked sitting down and never really have with Marcus always being on my case. After eating I wash my dishes and put them away. I look at my wrist and notice I forgot my watch so I run up to my room and put it on. I glance down and check my watch and notice that I have 4 minutes before I should leave. So I go out to the garage to wipe down my brand new black mustang Marcus got me when we moved here 3 weeks ago. Now that I'm done wiping down my car I go in the house to grab my Nike backpack, and put on my new black converse shoes and walk out the garage and hop in my mustang. After starting in it up and listening to the motor roar to life I op n the garage and pul out and drive to school.
