Chapter 7

(Marie's pov)

3 days ago George had gotten 4 yes' from the X Factor judges. But it didn't automatically mean he was through he had to go to bootcamp first and that's where he was heading today. "i'm really going to miss you" I said to George with a frown on my face. He pulled me into one of his amazing hugs "I know, I'll miss you too but don't worry i'll be back in 2 days tops" George replied smiling which made me feel better. I nodded smiling slightly. "Just remember to text me ok?" I said. "And goodluck handsome." I stood on my tip toes and gave George a sweet kiss on the lips. "Bye beautiful" George said hugging me tightly. I never wanted to let go. "Bye" I said softly. George half smiled at me before leaving my house and heading back to his so he could get his things and grab a taxi. I shut the door and walked towards my kitchen, food was definately necessary at a time like this. I grabbed the biggest box of cookies I could find and walked into the living room. I slumped down on my couch and decided to watch a fee reruns of Glee, this i basically what I would be doing until George gets back. I have friends but most of them are busy all the time so I'm left by myself unless i'm with George.

After watching two episodes of Glee I was getting pretty bored so I decided I would go shopping. I changed out of my sweats into some decents clothes and grabbed my purse and jacket and headed out to the mall. After a short 5 minute drive I finally made it and walked in to head to some of my favourite shops. I tried on a few outfits and decided to buy them. As I was heading out of TopShop I accidently bumped into someone. "I'm so sorry" I said not recognizing the person I bumped into at first. "It's ok Marie" He replied with his sweet smile. Shit..it was my ex boyfriend Damian. "Um yeah well bye" I said coldly heading in the direction of the mall exit. "Marie wait!" he said running after me. He grabbed my wrist and I turned to face him. "Can't you see I don't want to talk to you!" I spat in his face. "Please Marie just let me talk" He said looking at the dirty mall floor then back up to me. "You have two mintes" I replied annoyed. We walked to one of the mall benches and sat down. "Marie look, I'm so sorry for cheating on you it was a huge mistake I was drunk and I just wasn't thinking right and I'm just so sorry" Damian said with compassion. "I just want you to forgive me" "Damian you cheated on me don't you understand that?! you broke my heart I don't think i'll ever forgive you! Plus I have a boyfriend now who makes me so happy! I don't need you" I replied with no emotion in my face. "Boyfriend? Who is he?" Damian said. I could tell he wasn't very comfortable with the topic. "His name is George Shelley and he's a million times better than you'll ever be" I said before standing up and walking back towards the exit. "I'm gonna get you back!" Damian said loudly. "Don't think so!" I replied without looking back I was proud of myself for finally facing him and telling him I didn't need him ever.

~3 days later~

Today was the day George was coming back! I was so excited to see him again even though it had only been 3 days it still felt like forever. I decided to make some chocolate chip cookies since George tells me he loves mine so much. While i was mixing the ingredients together my phone rang, it was an unknown number but I answered it anyones "Hello?" I said holding using my shoulder to hold the phone up to my ear. "Helloooo?" I said again after no one answered the first time. "You will be mine again" The person on the other line said. "Damian just leave me alone!" I replied before hanging up the phone quickly. I knew it was him, I was getting so sick of him, after our encounter in the mall he had been texting me non stop and it was really pissing me off, hopefully he'll just leave me alone soon. I decided to shake it off and finish baking the cookies so I could bring them over to George's house.

I smiled looking at the cookies I made, I put cute little smiley faces on them with frosting. After letting them cool I put them on a plate and walked out the door to George's house. I knocked a few times and a lady I didn't recognize answered. "Hi is George back?" I asked politely. "No sorry dear he'll be here in a few minutes, want to come in and wait?" She replied nicely. "Yes please" I said walking into the house and putting the cookies down on the counter. "So are you George's mum?" I asked. "Yes I am" She said smiling sweetly. "Well hi I'm Marie" I said. "Oh I know who you are Georgie talks about you non stop, it's great to finally meet you" I blushed slightly "nice to meet you too." "George will love those cookies!" She said. "Oh I know i've made them for him before and he ate the whole batch in 5 minutes" I said giggling, George's mum laughed along with me. "So has George told you if he made it to judges house yet?" I asked while sitting on a chair. "No, I think he wants it to be a suprise for us." She said. "Let's hope it's a good suprise.

After chatting to George's mum for a few minutes the front door finally opened and I could see George coming in with his suitcase. I smiled and stood up walking towards him. "George!" I said sneaking up on the other side of him. He jumped slightly. I giggled at the sight "Hey beautiful" He said putting down his suitcase and pulling me in for one of his amazing hugs. "I've missed you so much" I said quietly. "I've missed you more" he replied still holding me. "I've been hanging out here with your mum" I said smiling and letting go of him. He smiled "hey mum" George said. Mrs. Shelley came over and gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I laughed because I could tell he was embaressed. "Well let me leave you two kids alone, I have to go grocery shopping" she said. "Marie would you like to stay for dinner?" She asked before heading out the door. "I'd love to" I replied smiling. "Wait mum before you go" George said "I want to tell you both that.....I made it to judges house!" George said. I jumped excitedly "Oh my gosh George I'm so happy for you!" I said running back into his arms. "But it's not just me" he said smiling "I got put into a boyband." I smiled even larger, I have such a love for boybands so to know my boyfriends in one makes me so happy. "George dear I'm so happy for you!" His mum said. "I'm going to get all your favourites at the store to celebrate!" Mrs. Shelley said before finally heading out the door. I could tell she was so proud of her son. "George this is amazing, I'm just so happy for you" I said kissing him. "Thankyou beautiful, I can't believe it either this is like a dream come true" George said smiling. "So tell me about the other guys in your band?" I asked. "Well I can't really tell you too much since I just met them but their names are Josh, Jaymi and JJ and were originally called Triple J but since i've joined we decided to call ourselves Union J" George said. "That's amazing! When are you heading to judges house?" I asked. "Tomorrow night! It's in Las Vegas, I can't wait to go." "Aw so your leaving me again?" I said sadly. George grabbed my hand and held it. "I'll be back you know that and hopefully with good news that were going to the live shows." I smiled "I know, I' m just really so proud and lucky to have to" I said hugging George again, I could never get enough of his hugs. While I was hugging George I could hear my phone going off in my pocket. "One Direction still your ringtone?" He said laughing slightly. "Always" I said winking at him. I opened the text and stared at my phone blankly.

Unknown: Your little boyfriend better watch out, if you don't meet me in an hour at my house something bad may or may not happen to him ;) xx

I closed my phone abruptly and walked to George's couch to get my purse, I had to go I knew it was Damian who texted me and I couldn't let him do anything to hurt George. "Uh George I have to go, i'll try to be back before you guys start dinner but if i'm not just eat without me ok?" I said kissing his cheek. "Wait babe where are you going?" He asked I could tell he seemed a bit worried. "I just have to help my mum with something don't worry i'll be back" I said putting a fake smile on my face. "I love you" I said to George. "I love you more" He replied sticking his tongue out at me. I smiled before closing the door behind me and walking in the dark towards Damian's house, this didn't feel right to me but I had to do it.
