Chapter 6

(Marie's pov)

It had been 2 days since George and I started dating, and let me say they have been the best 2 days of my life. Now it was the weekend...which means it was time for George's X Factor audition. I woke up from one of the best sleeps I have had in a while and walked into the bathroom to take a shower. I took a shower nice and hot just like I liked it and got out to put my outfit on for the day. I decided to wear teal jeans, a light pink slouchy shirt, pink sparkly Toms, and my brown leather jacket. I left my long blonde hair in it's wavy natural way and applied my minimal makeup. After inspecting myself in the mirror I decided I looked decent enough and grabbed my purse. "Bye mum i'm going to George's X Factor audition!" I said to my mum while grabbing a doughnut from the kitchen. "Ok bye love have fun and tell George I say goodluck!" She yelled back from her bedroom. "Will do!" I replied. I finished my doughnut and took a sip of coffee and headed out the door to George's house.

I plugged in my headphones so I could listen to some One Direction while I was walking. Yes, I am a huge fan and if I ever meet them some day I will probably faint. I put my IPod on shuffle and Moments came on, this was my favourite song by them. I was humming along to the music when I finally reached George's house. I unplugged my headphones from my ears and shoved them back in my purse with my IPod. I knocked on the door a few times before George answered. "Why hello there beautiful" He said while pulling me in to a sweet kiss. I giggled. "Hey there handsome" I replied smiling up at him. George was quit a few inches taller than me so basically I always had to look up at him. "You almost ready to go?" I asked while plopping down on the couch. "Yeah hold up I just need to get my guitar and then i'll be all set" George said running up the stairs to his room. After a few seconds George came running down the stairs with his guitar "Alright i'm ready!" He said. I stood up flinging my purse over my shoulder and walked towards George. "I'm so happy you're doing this, you really are so talented" I said to him. "Thanks babe, I'm nervous as hell but hopefully it'll all be worth it" George replied pulling me into one of his amazing hugs.

After embracing for a few moments we walked out to the and headed of for the X Factor arena audition arena in London.

The car ride took 2 hours we mostly chatted until I fell asleep about halfway through. I woke up to the sensation of wetness on my cheek and saw George leaning over me. "Ew George did you just lick my cheek?!" I said whiping off my wet cheek with my jacket sleeve. "Well you wouldn't get up so I didn't know what else to do" He said shrugging his shoulders. "Ugh you're gross" I said pushing him lightly. "But you love me" he said getting in my face. "Haha no doubt about that" I kissed his lips lightly and then we got out of the car and headed to one of the longest lines I have ever seen in my life. "Holy shit" I said while looking at all the people around us. "I have a feeling this is going to take a while" George said. "Well let's get in line" I said. George nodded and grabbed my hand and we walked to out place in line. Luckily today it wasn't raining so we wouldn't get soaked but it was kind of chilly.

We stood in line and chatted to a few people around us, listened to music, George also played me some songs on his guitar and finally after hours of waiting it was George's turn to audition. We walked backstage and I looked at George and could tell he was nervous "you'll be amazing out there I know it" I said staring into his eyes. "Thank you beautiful, that means so much" He replied kissing me gently. I could feel him ease up a bit. "George it's your turn" A worker said. He nodded and put his guitar strap around him. "Go kill it" I said giving him a reasuring smile. He smiled back and ran out on stage, while I waited anxiously back stage.

(George's pov)

This was it, my X Factor audition, the moment I had been waiting for forever. "Hello" Tulisa said from the judges table. "What's your name?" She asked. I could barely hear her through the screams from the audience. "My names George Shelley" I said into the microphone, a fit of screams erupted again from the audience. "And what do you do with yourself?" She asked. "I work in a coffee shop" I replied smiling into the microphone. "And what will you be singing for us today?" "I'll be singing Toxic by Brittney Spears" I replied. "Ooh interesting, carry on" She said. I grabbed my guitar and started strumming:

"With the taste of your lips i'm on the royde you're toxic i'm slipping under with the taste of you're poison paradoyse i'm addicted to you don't you know that your toxic" I finished singing and smiled at the judges I felt like I had done enough but I wasn't sure.

"George...you have 4 yeses" they said. "Congratulations!" I smiled and thanked them then ran backstage to Marie. As soon as I saw her I picked her up and twirled her. I could tell she was happy for me too since she was crying. I put her down lightly and hugged her. "I can't believe this!" I said happily. "I know! me either i'm so proud of you George!" She said kissing me. We headed out of the X Factor auditions with smiles on both of our faces. "Lets go out somewhere fancy tonight alright?" I suggested. "Anything you want George, it's your special day" She said winking. We both decided to do something simple and we just went to Nandos. "Wanna know why this day is so great?" Marie said chewing on her chicken. "Tell me?" I replied. "I got my Nandos!!" She said happily. "Haha oh really is that it?" I said back. "Nope, and also because my amazing boyfriend made it into the X Factor!" Marie said jumping in her seat. She was adorable. "I love you so much" I said. "I love you too" She replied staring at me with her beautiful blue eyes. This was one of the best moments of my life I made it to bootcamp and I had an amazing girlfriend who I wanted be with me through this whole journey. I just couldn't wait to see what came next.
