Kristoff's POV:

It's already day 2 of the party. Today, the Northuldra have hosted a formal ceremony for Elsa, similar to a coronation.

I was up all night looking for Ryder, but I gave up. I knew he wanted to be alone but I couldn't help but worry.

It's 12pm and the ceremony doesn't start until 6. I've been sitting in my tent, waiting for Anna to get back since 10am.

I wonder what she thinks of the whole situation.

When I was looking at Ryder, I saw her, from the corner of my eye, and she ran away. I'm sure she got the wrong idea, but I was only trying to help him.

I never broke eye contact, I needed him to be sure that I cared, even if Anna got the wrong idea.

Ryder needs a friend.

I'll gladly be more than happy to give him what he wants.

Anna's POV:

I stayed with Elsa last night. I didn't want to face Kristoff after what I saw.

What if he felt something more for Ryder?

What if he's into him?

I know I can't stay and ignore what happened. I need to speak to him.

"Elsa, I'm heading out for a little bit, I'll see you at the ceremony."

I hug my sister goodbye and I go outside.

I inhale the breakfast air that was made this morning, but I passed on it in fear of seeing Kristoff.

I go to our tent, hoping he's there.

When I lift up the entrance, I see Kristoff sitting on the bed. His head in his arms. He looks like he's in deep thought.

Maybe we're thinking the same thing.

What happened last night?

I go up to him and I sit next to him, he looks at me.

"Hey.." I had to prevent this from being awkward.

"I saw you and Ryder last night.. I couldn't help but think something's going on between you two.."

Kristoff gave me a weird look.

"Why would there be something between us? I'm not into guys-"

I suddenly realized that I simply overlooked everything, but I still had questions.

"Oh.. but how come you always run off with him..?"

He sighs, "He just really needs someone there for him, okay?"

"What do you mean?" I asked.

He hesitated.

"It's not my place to reveal that to people, I'm sorry. It's personal for him. I hope you understand."

I do.

I do understand and I'm happy he's there for the people he cares about.

"I do."
