Cindy's POV

We get to the party at 8pm and I already have 15 texts from Mum and 4 from dad. My phone buzzes.

Now, 16.

Amelia looks at my phone in my hand, then looks at me, I mouth 'parents' and her eyebrows shoot up, probably surprised that they care.

I shrug and she smiles. We enter the large already reeking house and try to get through all the drunk and horny teenagers.

"Hey Cindy! Love your style!" A girl, Kit, I think yells. And her cheerleader friends nod, smiling.

"Thanks!" I yell back.

"Hey! That's true, you and Drake kinda match!" Lindsy says and I actually notice his clothes for the first time, he looks good, everyone looks good.

We actually match. I smile and rest my head on Chase's shoulder, holding his hand tightly.

"Yo, Chase man! What happened today? You just left last minute." One of his so-called friends, Zeke asks him, coming in front of us.

"Yeah? I actually called him, so he had to come over, sorry I cut off your hangout. I say, sounding a bit too harsh, this guys piss me off.

Then another one comes.

"Luca" I say and he eyes me up and down, before looking at Chase.

"Let's go" he says, turning to leave with him.

"He's not going anywhere with you!" I snap and Chase rubs his thumb on my hand, indirectly telling me to calm down.

"Chase?"

"Nah. I think I'll stick with sunshine"

"Sunshine? Bro, one day and you're whipped" Zeke says and they laugh.

"I need a drink" I whisper to Chase and he nods.

"Bye." He says, as we turn to the kitchen , I can't help but twist my neck and say

"Guess it's no longer bros before hoes huh?" I wink at Luca, snicker and follow Chase.

Drake mixes something up for me, it's tastes more of Cherry than of alcohol. I like it. I hand Chase a cup of water and he laughs but takes it anyway.

"No drinks for you" I say and he gives me a soft kiss on the side of my lips.

"I know. I need to go meet someone okay? Not my teammates, I swear, just another friend."

"Yeah yeah, I'll be here when you get back" I say and be nods, then leaves.

Immediately, Amelia and Lindsy run to me.

"What's going on?"

"Why are you suddenly okay?"

"You guys look like a really cute couple"

"What of Ryan?"

"I don't understand"

"Girls, girls, calm down okay? I said I'll explain everything right?" They nod.

"Yep"

"Ok, so here it goes."
