Chapter 3 - Unsure

Ze’s POV:

 

I realized that we were still holding each other, I quickly let go realizing how it looked and that Chilled had Jess so it would be no use holding on any longer. So I let him go and just looked down, remembering that we couldn’t be together, that he would never love me…

 

“...So… We should all probably head in so that we all don’t freeze to death…” I didn’t get a response, which I understood since I had held on a little too long. Though we couldn’t stay out here, and we had Galm and Smarty a few feet away, so we all needed to head inside before it got more akward or we froze.

 

“...chilled?...Chilled?...Hello?Chilled?....You there?...”

 

Chilleds POV:

 

Why the hell did Galm have to ruin it?! I was about to tell him, do you know how hard that was, to get enough courage to do that...then now be able to do it because something came in the way… All I wanted was to hold Ze...Kiss him...I-i wanted to… do more than that…

 

“...Hello?Chilled?....You there?...” I heard Ze talking to me, I looked up and saw sadness and regret in his eyes. I was worried “Yea I’m here buddy...Sorry, what were you saying?... and are you okay?...” He gave me a weak smile as he responded “I’m fine Chilly Willy, and… I just said that we should all probably go inside before we, um, freeze…”

 

I knew that the time was about to come when I had to tell them about me and Jess, I was scared but I needed to do it. I would tell them and hope for the best.

I quickly took a nervous breath before replying “Yeah...we, um… probably should. Sorry I guess I’m bad at paying attention…” I was getting more nervous as Ze nodded his head and got some of the bags, I grabbed a few after Galm and Smarty got a few and lead them inside

 

“Hey Guys!!! It’s so good to see you all again!!” Jess came running out of her room when she heard the door start to open, she hugged Smarty “Good too see you to Jessy Lady!”(he said lady just trying to be funny btw), and Galm “haha, hi Jess!”, then gave a huge freaking hug to Ze (probably cause she knows I like him)”Um,hey Jess…” he seemed a little tedious and uneasy at first but then gave her a big hug back, it was wierd, him and Jess always got along, what could be wrong? Did they fight or something without me knowing? Well, I’ll ask Jess about it later...

 

“Smarty, Galm, Ze, since this place is new I’ll show you to your room, we only have 3 bedrooms...so you’ll have to share a room, their is one queen and one tw-” I was cut short by Smarty “ Wait. Wait, wait wait wait. 3 bedrooms. and we have to share one. Why?” Smarty seemed VERY curious, which made me think of that devilish grin he had at the airport...Did he know?No.He couldn’t...Could he? Never the less, this was my chance and I needed to tell them.

 

I motioned Jess to stand next to me  and gave her a quick glance, when she nodded I knew that I had to do it now, I have to admit that I was nervous past hell though , I looked at the floor and said “...Well...One for you guys… and um, well… One for me, and, uh, o-one for J-jess… we, um, uh, B-broke up...but are s-still living together…”

I saw Jess smile from the corner of my eye, I decided to look up and see everyone’s reactions. Smarty had his devilish grin on but didn’t speak, Galm also had a knowing expression with a smile plastered on...now Ze...He seemed to be the only one genuinely surprised.

 

“...And...I, um, well… Have s-something else t-to, uh, tell you… I, uh, I-i’m… G-g-gay…”

 

Smarty lifted his brow as if he was waiting for me too add something on, “Though what he forgot to tell you is that we will still be living together so I can support him and so I still have a good place to live” Jess said pretty lively. I was happy that she was there for me, now I needed to see everyone else's reactions…

 

“FINALLY! That took waaaaay to long.” Smarty said exasperated, then looked straight at Galm, Galm then proceeded to had over 40 bucks. Wait. “ Don’t tell me you really fucking betted on when I would come out you assholes?!”

“Haha, sorry Chilled, and of course we accept you bud, I mean, why wouldn’t we” Smarty had a huge smile on his face when he said this, then he started counting his money to make sure that Galm had paid him in full.

“Chilled did you really think we wouldn’t accept you? I’ll always be here for you man! And sorry about the bet but you know, when you get the opportunity…” Galm seemed nervous but really happy for me, yea sure the bet was a bit of a prick move but he truly accepted me, I couldn’t help but giving him a hug and saying “Thanks Black Anthony,” I had to be a little bit of an ass since he placed the bet.

 

Now I got really nervous as I turned to Ze… He seemed… Happy and scared at the same time? “...Ze…?”

He just smiled and hugged me, “...Chilled… I-i…”

 

Ze’s POV:

 

...I can’t believe Chilleds gay...I-I mean, does this really mean that I have a chance? I...I...I guess I’ll have to find out… but not around everyone...I mean, I know that Galm or “Black Anthony”( XP) Knows but I want to tell Chilled when we’re alone.

I remembered that I had hugged Chilled when he asked me “...Yes Ze?...”

 

“... I just wanted to tell you that.. I, uh, always wanted you to know that… I will always be there for you no matter what! That I care about you and just want you to be happy!” Oh my god, I actually was able to get something out… I felt him tighten our hug a little before he backed away and smiled at me “ You don’t know how much that means to me Steven…” He called me by my name? That sounded so adorable, I couldn’t help but blush and look away, I could feel his eyes on me… in fact I could feel more than his eyes on me… I looked up at Galm and he just winked at me and mouthed Good Luck…

 

I just nodded and looked back up at Chilled “Good. So? Are you going to show us to our rooms?” I said with a big smile on my face. Chilled face lit up as he said “ Of course! Let’s go! Smarty! Galm! You coming?! And Jess did decide on a good place to eat?”

 

“Yea I did, I’ll go warm up my car!” Well, I trust Jess even though her and Chilled dated, she is a good person and I think we’ll get along even better now.

“Awesome! Because...I really don’t think we can take my car” Chilled blushed a little and so did I remembering the earlier events. “So you gonna show us?” I heard Smartys voice followed by a snicker. “Yea! Let’s go!” Chilled lead the way, followed by me, Galm and Smarty...
