Alright, this one is a little biased, because Revali is my favorite character. Therefore, I am fine with most of the ships with him in it.
But honestly, I really like this one! Their dynamic is really fun, and I'd love to see their constant banter.
Of course, it's far from canon, but where's the fun in that? Not everything has to be canon, like some people may think. It is called fandom for a reason, after all.
Another thing I want to add, which doesn't add or subtract from the rating, is that there's not really a lot of content. That's surprising to me, because I've seen it mentioned a lot. I believe it's one of the most popular ships in botw, alongside Sidlink? I don't know, but there's not as much content as other ships and fandoms.
Adding on to that point, I think the reason that I don't see a lot of content for it is because some of it just... doesn't appeal to me. It's not the ship, but rather the content that I sometimes don't get.
For example, and this is probably going to be phrased very wrongly, Revali acts more like a "dom" (not in a sexual way, don't get that idea) and Link is the opposite, while I view it reversed.
I can understand why some people see it that way, and I do still view the content to help support them, but I can't see it that way for some reason. Maybe it's just my personal preference? I don't know. But sometimes it's hard to find content that has the dynamic, at the very least, similar to the way I prefer it.
But other than that, I personally view this ship to be cute. I'm sort of used to the 'enemies to lovers' trope, so it's not really different from my usual. Nonetheless, it's still a great ship, and I'd love for it to get more attention from the fandom.
