I'm so upset that they couldn't end up together.
They made such a cute couple! And the fact that they were childhood friends? Just... ugh. I'm a sucker for that trope, not gonna lie.
They had such a great history together, and on top of that, Mipha was even going to propose to him! She skillfully crafted a tunic for him, which must've taken forever, out of love. Why didn't they end up together again?
Oh yeah, because she's dead. :(
Man, I hope in the sequel they can bring the champions back. Or, at the very least, go back in time and show their relationships? Because I really don't want to end their stories here. And there's so much to look into with Mipha and Link's past.
I know this is biased, but I really feel as if they should've ended up together. I mean, everyone in Zora's Domain recognizes and knows Link, and that place really feels like home. He could've lived there, and still continue to be Zelda's knight.
But, there's really no way to do anything about it. And, I know this is selfish, but I just hope that Nintendo doesn't give Link any other romantic relationships. Because I just can't help but feel bad for Mipha and everything that she had built up with him. Sure, rejection is a thing, but it hurts man.
Still, I can only hope.
