"I've had enough."

Both Song-i and Jungkook looked at you with wide doe eyes. You hesitated for a second, but you can't handle this anymore. You decided to soften the blow a little bit.

"I love you two to death, I do", you said, your eyes going soft.

"But your 3 a.m. talks have got to stop."

You watched as both of them simultaneously opened their mouths to possibly deny the statement. But Jimin interjected.

"Let her talk. Taehyung and I agree", he said, nodding towards you. Taehyung absentmindedly looked up from his phone, nodding, even though you were pretty sure he had no idea what was going on. Jimin gave you an unnervingly positive smile, his hands showing you a thumbs up. You smiled back before looking at Song-i.

"I will not and can not survive another night hearing you talk all night. It's not like I don't have enough trouble sleeping, but at least I could lay down in silence rather than listen to you whisper to Jungkook, 'stop making me laugh, I laugh like a dying whale', right before you start laughing like a dying whale."

You heard both Jimin and Taehyung snort at that. Song-i blushed, hitting your arm (pretty hard).

"But she's an adorable dying whale", Jungkook said, looking like a puppy at Song-i. She laughed, causing his smile to widen. You and Jimin grimaced watching the two.

"Yup, the talks are never gonna stop", Jimin said, looking at the two in a way that bordened on disgust. You sighed, defeated. Looking at Song-i and Jungkook, you figured that you were probably gonna be walking to class alone. You started walking ahead, but Jimin caught up to you. He fell into a jog beside you, both of you quiet.

"Oh hey Jimin?" you asked. He hummed in reply.

"I've still got your shirt with me. From the night of the party. I would have given it to you at school but I didn't want the others to assume things." you said, shrugging. You noticed Jimin's posture visibly become awkward as you asked the question, his hands going to the back of his head and rubbing his neck.

"I guess you can drop it off at our apartment? Jungkook will have plans with Song-i and Taehyung's never home anyway."

"Right. Okay. Text me the address."

And a few hours after school, you found yourself in front of his apartment. A plain gray door with no sign of anything except the little plaque that had their names ingraved into it, each in their separate handwritings. You smiled.

"So..." you said. You thought about what would happen when you ring the bell. Would he invite you in? You're friends, that shouldn't be a big deal, should it?

You took a deep breath and exhaled, trying to expel all the thoughts and uncertainties along with the air, but they seemed to be stuck inside your chest. You took another breath.

"Let's do this."

Just as your hand pressed lightly against the bell, the other holding onto the bag in your hand with an iron grip, the sound of the bell and the door opening overlapped and you jerked back, surprised at the puppy shaped eyes that stared at you. The slightly shaken looking boy was wearing a green sweatshirt and grey sweatpants, his hair a ruffled blonde mess and his eyes slightly wide. His lips were set in a small pout as he greeted you.

"Hey. You're here." he said. You couldn't tell if there was an inflection or not. You smiled cheekily even though your heart was beating unnaturally fast.

"And apparently you were waiting for me." Something about the thought of him waiting right behind the door, waiting for you made your heart swell.

"I don't think that's a bad thing," he said as he turned away from you, "Come in."
