1. How long have you been self harming? Discuss why you started.
Since 9th grade. I was highly depressed and needed an outlet. I needed a way to feel pain and relief at the same time.

My little sister and my friends
4. Do you consider yourself "addicted"? why or why not?
Yes. When I think I'm over it something happens and with no thought i go and find my blade
5. What part of self harm do you dislike the most?
How long the cuts take to heal

Feeling my skin break...it's like while my skin is breaking all my bad feelings are leaving

8. What the most supportive thing anyone has said to you about self harm?
'Its part of the unbreakable rules! You can't hurt yourself or you break the rules and the world will explode!' I stopped for about two months after that. So did he
9. Have you ever taken pictures of your wounds? Discuss.
Yes. Every time I harm I take a picture. I find it oddly calming and I find it helpful when I'm in a bad place to look at the pictures and remember that pain/relief instead of making new cut
10. How do you feel about your scars?
I love my scars. I get scared people will see them of course but like they're my battle scars. They show how I was in a terrible fight and I over came it. It shows that even though I'm weak, I'm still strong
11. Strangest place (home, park, etc) you've ever injured yourself?
Home. I don't like doing it outside my house
12. Where do you keep your 'tools'? (Your room, in a box, disposed of them?)
My room, bathroom, and in between my phone and phone case
13. What is the biggest realization about self harm you've had?
It's like a drug. Once you start you can't stop no matter what

My little sister

Just Instagram pages about recovering
16. What advice would you give to someone about self harm?
To not do it. It's not something healthy to do even if for something it makes you feel better because after awhile you don't feel good about it but you feel worse
17. Do you know anyone else who injures themselves?
Yes

I did this on paper. So that only I can read it

20. What is the most vivid memory you have of self harm.
I don't really know. I don't think it was when I was legitimately doing it but when one day I was in short shorts and some scars were showing and my little saw and pointed them out asking what happened to me and I told I had them for so long that I forgot.
21. Have you tried to stop in the past? What are you doing differently this time?
Yes. In the past I would just let the feelings fade away of wanting to cut when now I take a bubble bath or read or draw or do something to calm down and relax myself without hurting myself
22. Where do you feel the most calm?
My bed, surrounded by my giant teddy bears

Damaged people are dangerous because they know they can survive
24. What are some of your main triggers? Why?
Stuff people say or do. Most of it goes back to being bullied a lot.
25. Do you know any statistics about self harm?
On average, 108 people commit suicide in the US alone, averaging to about 3,250 people a month and nearly 39,000 every year.
In 2012, death by suicide took more lives than war, murder, and natural disasters.
In 2011, 39,518 Americans died as a result of committing suicide, which made suicide the 10th leading cause of death for American's that year.
26. What is something that makes you the most happy?
Listening to music while I'm drawing
27. Discuss any and all progress you have made.
I went two and a half months without harming. When I broke I vowed to go longer. I'm a month clean now.
28. What short-term goals do you have?
To go at least three months without harming
29. Do you follow any self-harm blogs?
A lot of them
