I don't know if he recognizes me from school, but I sure do. I had him for chemistry, but I've never really interacted with him. Now that I look at him, I can't help but notice all of his unique features. His dark curly hair that peaks out from under his beanie. His bright teeth that show when he smiles. And the lines he gets on his cheeks when he grins because they are so chubby. I smile back at him.

Then he also introduces himself to Cam. Okay, one boy down, five more on the couch that I still have to meet. Cam better keep her cool. We only get first impressions once. I swear, if she screws up, I'm going to push her off the balcony I see through the clear doors on the other end of the room.

I walk pass Jc to meet the other boys. The one with dirty blonde hair stands up from the couch.I can tell he likes dark clothing by his grey shirt and dark black pants. Oh, and his black Converse.  I put my hand out to shake his, but he makes it awkward and goes for a hug instead. I really hope no one saw that as I hug him back. "I'm Connor," he introduces himself.

Okay, it wasn't that bad. It could have been a lot more embarrassing. So then I move on with the rest of the boys. Luckily, things go smoother with them.

"I'm Ricky." He looks like the tallest one with a blonde stripe in his hair. He's wearing a red tank top and skinny jeans.

"Sam." His cheeks are so rosy. He's wearing a tank top as well.

"Trevor." He looks really young compared to the rest of the guys and he's wearing a flannel around his waist.

"Hey, I'm Kian." He has tattoos running along his arms and he's wearing a flower crown. His white tank top exposes so much from the sides where the arms sleeves should be.

I don't think the other five boys go to my school. None of them look familiar.

After that, Jean sits down next to Trevor. Now there's no more room on that couch, so I take a seat on the couch adjacent to the one Jean is on. Cam stays standing , so i pull her by the shirt. She plops down on the couch not so smoothly. "Sorry," I whisper.

"So," Cam says to everyone, but mostly to Jean. "This is the party you wanted us to come to so bad?"

"Yup," she answers with confidence.

"Are you sure?"

"What? Are you saying you don't like our parties?" Kian speaks up.

"No, that's not what I'm saying at all. All I'm saying is that I expected music. And lights. And drinks. And more people."

Kian looks over to Ricky and they smile at each other. There is something obviously going on here. "Oh, you are talking about an old fashioned party. We don't roll like that. We have our own definition of partying."

"And what is that?" I ask, now leaning forward as I rest my elbows on my knees.

"Well," Jc explains. "We do have drinks. A party isn't a party without drinks. But we don't like inviting a lot of people because it just makes it more difficulty to just hang and have a good time. So we keep the number to a minimum. As for the music, don't worry. We're covered."

Okay, I don't know what these guys are up to, but now I'm curious and all ready to see what they have in store.

Then Sam stop playing with his lip ring to speak up. "But first, we are all hungry. There's a waffle house a few blocks down from here. We want to go there first and come back here and have a good time. You girls in?"

I look over to Cam and she smiles at me. I know she's in. And I don't even have to turn to Jean to know that she's in this as well. As for me, this seems like fun. I don't know what it is about these boys, but I want to get to know them better. And I want to see how Jc acts outside of school. I want to see if he's not as shy as he is in class.
