Chapter 3: A spontaneous Day Out

I hopped in the car and found my favourite blanket on the seat, he's so damn cute. "Thank you Tommy. How did you know I might want this?" I asked while pulling him across the gear stick for a hug. "Well, I know you pretty well by now don't I." He smirked. I nodded and smiled in response. "There's a travel mug full of coffee if you want love but there's water in the bag by your feet too." "Thank you handsome." I mumbled. "Anything for you, where do you want to go?" I shrugged. I actually don't know, I just love going on drives at this time of year. "Anywhere Tommy." We both smiled. "I'll think of something, why don't you put your music in?" I nodded and got the USB lead out of the compartment on the passenger side and plugged my phone in.

It was great being out of our house with Tommy. I go on drives by myself or sometimes with Will when he's not busy but there's just something special about it when its Thomas and me. We eventually stopped off at this little village Thomas found, it was so cute! There were a couple of shops, a cafe, a pub / bistro thing and a chippy. We took our lunch and sat under some trees in a wooded area that were starting to go that classic orange and brown colour and there was a view out toward some hills that probably belonged to farmers. It was actually quite romantic.

"How are you feeling?" Thomas asked, snapping me out of my awe of this place. "Better, thank you. Tommy this place is amazing isn't it?" We both sat down on the blanket he'd brought. "It is indeed blossom. I wish we could do things like this more often." He looked and sounded kind of sad, my poor guy. "Me too Tommy but your work is important and I understand that and I cherish these days because of that." There's that smile I love. "You really are amazing, I love you. I cherish these days together too." We both smiled before Thomas leaned in for a kiss. It was passionate and full of love. I wrapped my arms around his neck and let him pull me onto his lap as we carried on. I love him so damn much. "I adore you Rosie." He whispered. "You're my everything and I'll never let you go. I promised you that when we first met and I meant it sweetheart." My heart. He remembered! "You're the best man I could have ever asked for you know... and I wouldn't have it any other way Tommy. You're just amazing." We smiled at eachother while our foreheads were touching. It really was a magical moment. "Turn around blossom, sit in my lap and we'll dig into the food." I kissed his cheek before I turned myself around and leaned into his chest.

This moment is one I'll never forget.
