Trigger warning
Lapis's POV

I quickly ran up the stairs, I had lots of bruises and cuts, but I didn't care!

"Peridot!" I yelled, looking all around the roof, I heard a quiet whimper and turned around.

There was my girlfriend, laying on the ground with a shot wound right in her thigh. It looks like the person who shot her got away.

"Peridot! A-are you okay? H-here! L-let me help you!"  I said trying to get her up.

"L-lapis...it's in too deep...and we're criminals, we can't go to the hospital...so please just find another partner and let me die here..." Peridot said with a weak voice.

"No, no, no! I-I'm not leaving you here! T-there's got to be some way! I-I-I can't lose y-you!" I said, the face Peridot made was a mix between happy and sad.

"I-I don't want to die ether...but I want you to do something...." Peridot said grabbing my hand.

"Find someone else...get married....start a family even...just please don't forget about me" Peridot said.

"No! I'm not leaving you here! There has to be some way!" I yelled crying.

"Lapis, LAPIS! Wake up!" Peridot yelled.

"No!" I yelled waking up, tears streaming from my eyes.

"P-peridot! Y-your okay!" I yelled jumping on top of her and giving her a big hug.

"Are you okay though?" Peridot asked.

"I am now, please don't ever leave me okay?" I said.

"Why would I? C-can you tell me what's wrong?" Peridot asked.

"N-no, right now I just want to cuddle" I say push Peridot over and me getting on top of her.

"Okay, I can cuddle with you baby" Peridot said smiling.

"And Peridot?"

"Yes?"

"I love you"
