"Oh, It's dark out already." Kuroo said, gaining the attention of the team, including the coach.
"I didn't notice. Our practice today ends. Make sure to eat when you go home!" The coach said, packing his things up, then left.
"l/n, let me help you with that." Lev said reaching where the net is hung for you.
"Too small." He teased you and stuck his tongue out. Thankfully, Yaku was there to kick Lev's butt for you. You just laughed at him.
"l/n, you shouldn't go home alone. It's dark out already." Yaku worried.
"Where are you headed l/n-senpai?" Yamamoto quickly asked.
"Train Station." You answered. He suddenly went gloomy.
"Too bad my house is just walking distance from here." He sighed in defeat, walking away and continued mopping the floor.
"We're heading to the station!" Kuroo butted in, pointing at himself and Kenma.
"How about you Lev?" You ask.
"I meet up with my sister somewhere." He answered
This is bad. You and Kenma were still awkward to each other since that incident. It might be a bit exaggerated to not talk to each other just because of an accident, but it couldn't be helped to get all flustered just by seeing him.
"Now it's set! You'll go home with us starting today!" Kuroo joyfully declared.
You awkwardly smiled, making a few glances to Kenma who wore a bored expression. You could tell he wanted to finish cleaning soon and get a hold of his switch.
why am i so curious of this gamer boy?
---
The ground slightly vibrating and footsteps are everywhere. You got caught up to the rush hour with Kuroo and Kenma.
Tokyo's rush hour is the worst thing you've ever experienced. The trains are cramped, with no spaces to move at all. You have finally entered a train, together with Kuroo and Kenma.
There were no space at all, you'll really have to bear being squeezed in the crowd. The worst is, they were all old men going home from work. It made you really uncomfortable.
Kuroo and Kenma were beside the train door since you entered the train first. They noticed how you squished by big men and how you are uncomfortable being that close to strangers.
Kenma wasn't playing his game due to the cramped space you guys are in. He didn't realize he was watching you the whole time. The uneasy face you wore made him worried.
"l/n." A soft voice called, which made you turn around. You were too close to Kenma again, and this was the first time he spoke to you since that incident.
"Let's switch places." Kenma demanded in a calm voice, pulling you to him.
As soon as you both now switched places, Kenma was suddenly pushed by the crowd behind him, making him place his hand on the door beside you to stop himself from falling to you.
"S-sorry." Kenma struggled to get his balance again, making him stay in that position.
"It's okay." You reply. Both of you are now a blushing mess.
"Kenma's being a gentleman huh?" Kuroo teased, chuckling at the sight of you and Kenma's current position.
---
Finally the train ride is over. You are now walking together with Kuroo and Kenma, not knowing where each one of you are going.
Minutes of the walk, no one dared to speak up on how the three of you are heading to the same direction.
Kenma didn't keep his eyes on the road, he was playing his game while walking, seems like he is used to it now. Kuroo guided him whether he needed to move or look at his path.
Only your footsteps and Kenma pressing on his switch buttons can be heard. There was silence, a peaceful and safe one.
"Is this the way to your home? If you guys are planning to walk me up to my house please don't especially if it is way out of your route." You asked nervously.
"Huh? No, This is actually where we are headed." Kuroo blinked a few times before realizing that you have been with each other for a while now.
"Oh. Well, this is my house. See you tomorrow!" You stopped infront of a small traditional japanese house, opening the gate.
"How come I didn't know we were neighbors?" Kuroo couldn't believe you just lived near them.
"N-neighbors!?" A shocked yet confused question from you.
"Yep. we live next to each other and our houses are just the next street." Kuroo explained pointing at the right turn ahead.
As you looked at the direction where Kuroo was pointing at, you and Kuroo saw Kenma walking ahead, still busy of his game. He seemed to not realize you and Kuroo stopped walking.
"Oi Kenma! Wait for me." Kuroo called, catching up to Kenma while waving you goodbye.
Kenma turned around cluelessly, and in an instant, his eyes widened when he saw you lived there, and he didn't knew, Even Kuroo didn't know about it.
"Goodnight... y/n."
