「Game Over」 // Kenma Kozume //

6 || Shopping.

It has been a week since that incident.The weekdays went by like usual, but Kuroo made sure you were never alone at walking home and Kenma being more vigilant of the surrounding as the three of you walk home.

Now it's weekend again, no school, just you in your house. You planned to go to the mall and go shopping by yourself, so you took a bath and got dressed.

As you opened the front door, you were shocked to see Kenma, who was about to knock on the door.

It's a real surprise that Kenma came over. According to Kuroo, he doesn't really want leaving the house.

"What brings you here?" You asked awkwardly.

"I wanted to play with you." He says as he shows you the two controllers he brought.

"Isn't it just lunchtime? why don't you come back here in the afternoon? eat lunch first at your house, Kozume." You say as you smiled at him.

Kenma suddenly looked down, making you freak out. You don't really know him that much, so you don't know how will he act after being turned down like that.

"But you cook good food..." He said.

You had to admit. Kenma Kozume is so freaking way too cute for you to take. You were blushing hard, hoping he wouldn't notice.

"Actually about that... I am going to the mall because I have no groceries." You replied.

He looked at you up and down, then walked past you entering your house.

Confused of his actions, you shouted at him. How could he enter someone's home just like that?

"Oi Kenma I said-" You were cut off when he quickly came back to you.

"Okay let's go. Let's also just eat outside." He said and walked past you as you were left frozen in place.

He had left his controllers and games on your table that's why he entered.

"Let's go." He repeated once again. His cat-like eyes staring plainly at you, snapping you out of your thoughts.

Is this real? Kenma is really going to leave his game and go out?

On the way to the mall, you just thought of how will the both of you eat. Will you split the bill? or pay for it since Kenma looks like he didn't bring any wallet with him.

"Follow me." Kenma said as both of you entered the mall. You just nodded and did what he said. The next thing you knew, you were now infront of a fanous ramen place. Ichiran Ramen.

"Isn't this place expensive?!" You whispered to him.

He totally ignored you and continued walking and entered the restaurant, gesturing the waiter for a table for 2.

Are you freaking serious?? you thought. You were worried that you would have to pay for this. You can't, you're broke for this.

You just ordered a bowl of ramen and water for drinks. Kenma suspiciously looked at you while he was still browsing the menu. He gave you a 'really?' look.

He sighed and ordered his choice of ramen, together with 2 desserts and 2 drinks.

"Why is your order just a bowl of ramen?" Kenma asked you, slightly irritated.

"Uhmm, this place is kind of expensive and I was trying to save money-"

"Who said you were going to pay?" Kenma cut you off.

Kenma who seemed to not bring anything with him, took out a small pouch from his pocket that contained his credit cards. He held a black card with his name written on it, and showed it to you.

"N-no! Let's just split the bill oka-" You were cut off when Kenma already gave his card to the waiter.

"Can you stop now?" He asked with his typical calmed face, staring right into your eyes. You immediately looked away and pretended to be observing the view.

You loved going around in stores looking for items you might want, or just have fun browsing things.

Now you are window shopping with Kenma. He didn't have his switch with him, so he just watched you look at the beautiful jewelries displayed infront of you.

You were staring at one particular necklace. It is a gold necklace with a small sparkly pendant. You didn't know that it really showed on your face how much you liked the item.

You had to admit, your current self couldn't afford it. You're just a student.

"I'm done now Kenma, I'm just going to buy groceries now."

He looked at you and looked back at the necklace you were eyeing on.

"You're not going to buy it?" He asked, pointing at the necklace.

"No, now let's go."

You kept on walking, until Kenma called for your attention.

"You go ahead, I'll follow later. I'll just use the restroom." He said, quickly walking away.

"Kenma... that's not the way to the restroom..." You whispered to yourself.
