Chapter 2: The Assignment

Today I was told to go see my father, who of course wants me to do his bidding.

I approached his office and took a deep breath before knocking "It's me.." I say loud enough to be heard behind the door

"come in" I hear my father say. I open the door and walk inside. I then shut the door behind me and sit in the seat he motioned for me to sit in.

"what did you want to see me for?" I ask as I look at my father with a blank expression. My dark midnight black hair laid against my back, as my bangs were slightly too long and in my eyes.

"as you know I have a new assignment for you. It involves the heroes called Teen Titans" He handed me a file with all the info I needed.

I took the file and looked inside "what exactly do you want me to do father?" I ask as I look at all the information I was handed.

"I want you to try and befriend them and join them. You will keep me updated of course. You will also be wearing this ear piece the whole time" he says as he held up the ear piece I will be wearing "keep it hidden at all times understand?"

I gave a nod "yes father I understand" I close the file as I look at him

"you will be leaving tomorrow. Be sure to read all of the info you need. See me as soon as you wake up. I'll have a new suit for you to wear so you're not suspicious" he says and slid the ear piece to me "and keep this with you. Don't forget about it either" he gave me the look of intimidation

I nod and pick up the ear piece "I won't forget. I promise"

"very good. You are dismissed" he says as he waved me away

I nodded and stood up. I walked back to the office door with the file and ear piece in my hands. I then left his office and began walking back to my room to begin reading the info in the file
