Chapter 17

James p.o.v

   After the doors swung open I looked up expecting to see Girvana, but instead I saw Dumblewhore. He looked around the room and saw only me inside.
 
   "Where the fuck is the other one!?" He screamed up the stairs, and since the door was still opened the others heard what was said very clearly. They rushed down to the door as fast as they could.
  
    I still stay there but only this time with a smirk on my face. Knowing they won't find Aiden now since he has had about a 30 minute head start and is close to getting some where safe by now almost.
 
    Or maybe he found a way to contact mom and dad. The bushy haired one walked towards me.
"Why are you smirking faggot?" She said and that only caused me to laugh.

    "Nothing your "royal" bitchyness"
She then walked up to me, getting right up into my face, glaring daggers.
 
   "Wow I am so intimidated by you glaring at me. Ah! I am going to die!" I said in a mocking yet sarcastic tone. Which they didn't seem to like since I received another kick to my already bruised- maybe broken- ribs.
 
  "That all you got?" I challenged them. I knew it wasn't a good idea, but I had to do whatever I could go make sure Aiden was safe.
 
They must have not liked me talking back to them so they kept beating me to a pulp. I had what I could only assume to be a broken leg, arms and thumbs from earlier, black eye, broken nose, and cracked or broken ribs.

    But this is nothing compared to what Vernon did. I was there breathing heavily on the ground with my head down while Ronald was in the room with me.

    He walked towards me and kneeled down. All I did was stare at him and cough up the blood that was coming up my throat.

   "Where is your brother?" He asked but I just shook my head with a chuckle.

    "You'll never find Aiden. He's long gone by now. Maybe even got the attention of someone near by and is on their way here." I said and he just walked away with a shake of his head.

   Ron looked back thinking about something but decided to shut the door, leaving me all alone. I looked up towards the window that I last saw Aiden in.

  "Please be okay Aiden. I don't know what I would do if I lost you again. I-I can't do that again. Please be safe..." Towards the end my voice cracked and I had tears in my eyes. But I had to be strong for Aiden while hoping he's okay and safe.

A.n. So in my last post I said I might get published but I decided not to do it. It seemed like a scam to me but if the opportunity comes again and it's legit then, I'm going to take it.
