⚠️TW: blunt head trama. ⚠️
(If there are any others please tell me!)It took him a day to get everything ready. Patton wasn't going to do this last minute, he had everything planned out. Most everything was set up in Virgils old room on the dark side. It was quite early, so Patton had just heard Logan's door opening. Logan always woke up early to get everything functioning, and Patton woke up earlier then the others to make breakfast for everyone else.
He smiled when he heard the stairs creaking. That meant he was in the kitchen. He breathed in and placed a bubbly smile on his face as he bounded down the stairs behind Logan.
"Hi ya Logie!" he said in a sickly sweet tone, skipping towards Logan in a childlike fashion. "You're up quite early Patton." the logical side said, turning away from his coffee he was brewing to look at him. He had a book in his hand but Patton didn't care enough to notice which one. "Yeah..I couldn't sleep with all that noise." he said, his face turning to fake-concern. "What noise, may I ask?" Logan asked quizzically, looking intrigued. Patton smirked to himself, it was all going according to plan. "Well... I heard a lot of strange noises coming from Virgils old room.. I think there's something happening.. I'm too scared to go by myself though." he said, bringing a wavering tone into his voice to make it seem more real. He didn't directly ask Logan to come with him, because he knew if he was pushy Logan would be suspicious, but he knew Logan would offer.
Curiosity killed the cat, or the teacher in this case. "Is that so?" he said, placing the bookmark he always seemed to have between the pages of his book, setting it down next to the coffee pot. "I could be of some assistance if you need." he said, trying not to show how interested he was in the thing Patton was describing. "Oh yes please! Come, i'll lead you there!" Patton, with real happiness now, but not for the reason that Logan thought.
After awhile of walking through the dark side the sides finally made it to the chipping black door. Patton was about to open the door for him, but then remembered he was supposed to be scared, so he hung back a bit beside Logan, who leaned forward to scrutinize the door. After a good 10 minutes for him just looking at the door, he pulled back and stood upright, then swiveled around to look at Patton. "It seems that someone has entered it quite recently, even though Virgil specifically stated it was off limits. Last I saw the door it was dusty everywhere, now there are certain parts with no dust." Patton nodded along to what Logan was saying, but he already knew who made those places with no dust. It was himself, when he was prepping the room. "So.. Do you think we should go inside?" Patton asked from behind Logan, gripping to the back of his shirt. "That would be ideal" the logical side said, reaching for the door handle.
They entered the room and Patton made a point to stay behind Logan. Logan entered and looked around. Everything was mostly how it was left, except some materials that Patton had added, but Logan couldn't see those yet. As soon as Logan was far enough away from the room's door, Patton hit the light switch in the room and swung the door closed abruptly.
"Patton?" Logan called out, seeming to turn towards the direction of the door.
"I'm here." he said, his voice dropping to a monotone while moving his and around on the desk next to him, looking for the thing he had placed there earlier. He smiled when his hand hit a cold metal object. "Was that you?" Logan asked once more, trying not to sound worried, but his voice shook slightly. Patton had a maniacal smile on his face as he clicked the lock of the door and stepped closer to Logan, metal object in hand. "Oh Logan, you really don't know what's happening here? And they call you the smart one." he Patton spoke freely, no need to act anymore. Logan's fight or flight instincts kicked in and he backed away from the voice, or at least it sounded like that because his back hit the wall with a thump.
"Don't worry Logie, it'll all be over soon~" he cooed, in a mocking tone. He reached where Logan hit the wall and could see the outline of a cowering man. He smirked and raised the frying pan he had in his arms over his head and brought it down onto the other. Not hard enough to kill him, but definitely hard enough to knock him out.
The adrenaline was still running through his veins and Logan crumpled on the ground in front of him and he smiled for himself. "Okayyyy.. So I have about an hour before he wakes up. Let's get to work!" he clapped his hands together and turned the lights back on with a snap of his finger.
