A month has passed since this whole game began. 2000 people have died and we haven't cleared the first floor. I've done my best to keep everyone safe but I can't save everyone. No one has been able to find the boss room. But finally, someone did. We were finally having a strategy meeting on how to defeat the floor on Boss 1.

A/N: Cut! Try again!

We were finally having a strategy meeting on how to defeat the boss on Floor 1. I'm sitting in an amphitheater in the town called Tolbana. Sitting next to me were Nautilus and Yuna. They both have come a very long way from the beginning. Nautilus still holds my secret from Yuna. Yuna looks up at me like a big brother. I kind of missed how she used to look at me. They are the only ones (besides Argo) who I truly communicate with. Even if it is just through messaging.

Now onto the meeting. It was being led by a man named Diavel who was dressed as a knight. I honestly don't remember how it really went. I was zoning out here and there.

Diavel: Everyone, thank you for coming. My job is knight.

Player: There is no job system in this game!

Diavel: Anyway, I am pleased to announce that my party has actually found the boss room! Since we are the strongest players, it is our duty to clear this floor and get to Floor 2! Now why don't we all start by grouping up?

I looked around and saw a smile on Yuna and Nautilus's face. I guess I already had my group. I saw a person in a cloak by himself and I decided to walk over to him. I stopped in front of him.

???: What do you want?

I was surprised to find out that "he" was actually a "she."

I decided just to send her a friend request.

???: You're sending a friend request to someone you just met?

I shook my head and pointed closer.

???: A party request? You want to party up with me?

I nodded.

???: Not much of a talker? I get that.

She accepted the party request. I smiled but that soon faded when I saw her name: Asuna. Could it really be my fiance?

Asuna: You're partied up with others? Where are they?

I pointed to Nautilus and Yuna. Yuna waves. Asuna stands up and follows me to my friends and we all sit together.

Yuna: Hi, my name is Yuna! Pleased to meet you!

Asuna doesn't respond. Yuna sighs.

Nautilus: It's okay. She's just in our party temporarily.

I turned back to the meeting.

Diavel: Now that we're partied up let's continue!

A man named Kibaou arrives and interrupts the meeting.

Kibaou: Before we do...I have something that I want to say! I demand an apology from certain players for the reason that over 2000 people have died!

Diavel: You mean the beta testers?

Kibaou: Yes! They left all us new players on our own and didn't even bother to help us! They took all the easy quests and cleaned all the easy hunting grounds and left us! I bet there are some in this meeting right now! Any of you...come forward now and and give up all your money and items or you can't be trusted!

I just remained calm. I was technically a beta tester but not really. I saw the look on Nautilus's face. He never liked it when anyone insulted me. He looked on the verge of blowing. I placed my hand on his shoulder and he looked at me. I just shook my head. That seemed to calm him down for the moment. A man named Agil stepped up.
