The next morning, the girls woke up prepared as they got dressed while Avery went to the kitchen so she could make breakfast as the others packed up for their grandpa Garret. Garret liked to pull one over people a lot (that means he likes to trick people) and to the girls he's untrustworthy and to Cole he was both trustworthy and untrustworthy.
Right now Avery was serving breakfast; cereal for Joni, waffles for Jade, scrambled eggs for Willow and Cole, and a turkey sandwich for herself.
Cole: Good mornin' girls
All: Morning Pa
Cole: Ya four all packed up ready ta head to Garret's?
All: Yeah
Cole: Ah know ya girls don't wanna go but jus' give ya grandpa a few days.
The girls just nod their heads and clean up the kitchen as the whole town prepares to say goodbye to the Daltons. After hugs from their closest friends, they moved to Cole and finally it was Joni's turn.
Joni: How long are we gonna be gone?
Cole: *puts hand on Joni's cheek* Ah don't know but what ah do know is that ya'll keep everyone together.
Joni: *raises a brow* How are ya sure?
Cole: Cause my oldest daughter jus' happens t' be Joni Dalton that's how
Joni chuckles and they give each other the biggest hug before gently pulling away.
Cole:*kisses Joni and the others on the cheeks* Keep the family together Joni for me.
Joni nods as she and her sisters hopped on the wagon to take them to Grandpa Garret's in Nevada. During the ride, Jade played countless songs on her guitar to keep everyone calm. The ride to Nevada was gonna be the whole day, so the driver made sure to make some rest stops so the girls would get some food and water on the way there.
Meanwhile that same night Jade, Willow and Avery were in a deep sleep but Joni was the only one awake. She looked up at the stars giving a warm smile, she hoped everything would go well with Garret cause she loved her sisters more than anything. She made a cozy spot next to Avery and fell in a deep sleep.
