"Son! Run! I said Run!"

A little boy with a crying baby in his arms looked at his mother who was shouting at him from the bottom of the car that was fallen on her legs.

"No, Mommy! No! Kong won't go! I will help Mommy!" The little boy cried along with his little brother in his arms.

"Please baby! Mommy beg you! Take Sam with you and never go back to your Uncle! Never trust him!" His Mommy shouted, her breath becoming irregular.

Kongpob shook his head.

"Kusum! They.... they're coming! Kong! Run...run!"

Kusum looked at her husband who was covered in blood with her.

Her eyes widened when she saw a group of men coming with knives in their hands. The place where they laid was in the middle of a road in the forest and it was night. They knew that it's not possible for people to find then. They could clearly guess who the men were.

"Kong! Son! Please! Please go! Or else mommy and Daddy will not love Kong and Sam," Kusum sobbed, she watched her husband wheezing. She used the last straw she had to make her son run away.

"No! No! Don't hate me and Sam! I'll go! Promise you will come?" Kongpob rubbed his teary eyes as he smoothed his brother who soon fell asleep in his small arms.

"Yes, now.... go! Don't...look back! Mommy and Daddy.... love you.... na baby!" She gasped for air.

Without thinking much Kongpob started to run with baby Sam in his arms. He heard loud laughter from behind but he didn't turn around as his mother said.

He ran and ran as far as he could until he reached a place where large dumps of garbages were dumped.

Kongpob ran, he could feel his legs giving up. Soon he tripped on a rock.

"Papa! Papa! Papa!"

Kongpob opened his eyes wide, his breath unstable, sweat dripping from his forehead and he could feel himself drenched in his clothes.

"Papa, you okay? Why are you screaming?" Sam asked with his tear-stained face as he placed his small palm on Kongpob's cheeks.

Kongpob looked around his room, his eyes stopped when he saw a worried Arthit standing at the foot of the bed.

"You were screaming, Kong. I tried to wake you but you didn't, I had to call Sam," Arthit said with worry-filled in his voice.

Kongpob looked towards the window and found that the sun had already risen. His head started to hurt and dashes of the previous day's memories came to his mind.

"I'm okay, I'm sorry," Kongpob clutches his head.

"Sam, P'Aim will come to pick you na. Go with him to school," Arthit said as he took Sam in his arms.

"But, Papa....." Sam pointed at Kongpob who was sitting on the bed with an emotionless face.

"I will take care of your precious brother, now will my prince go to school?", Arthit asked with a sweet smile playing on his lips.

Sam looked between his brother and Arthit and gave a smile to Arthit before he nodded his head.

"Ok!"

Arthit smiled and planted a kiss on Sam's forehead and caressed his hair. He let go of Sam when he heard the doorbell ring.

"It must be Aim," Arthit said as he made his way to the door and opened it to find Aim standing with May beside him.
