Kongpob blinked, squinting his eyes at the bright light that entered his eyes. He groaned, trying to sit up but he ended coughing as a shot of pain passed through his neck.
"Kong, babe..." A pair of hands wrapped around Kongpob's shoulder.
"P-P'Arthit..." Kongpob coughed, feeling the irritation on his neck.
Arthit let out a relieved sigh, "Don't talk Kong, I'm here."
Kongpob blinked, feeling Arthit's arm around him as he made him sit up he looked up to meet his lover's face. Arthit had a bandage on the right side of his neck and a small bruise on his lips.
Arthit made sure Kongpob was comfortable, he then pressed the button next to the bed signalling the doctor that the patient had woken up.
Arthit sat beside Kongpob on the bed, "Want some water?"
Kongpob nodded his head. He watched as Arthit take a glass that was on the table beside the bed and pours water into it, he placed a straw in it before he placed the mouth of the straw to Kongpob's lips.
"Drink it slowly, take your time," Arthit whispered softly. Watching the younger wince as he gulped the drink Arthit could only sigh, he wished this had never happened and all went along with the plan but things didn't. And maybe it was for the best, now they could peacefully live without anyone's thought's breathing down their neck.
Arthit placed the glass of water back on the table when Kongpob finished drinking.
The couple sat back in silence, both of them didn't know what to do, there was soo many words they wanted to share but it didn't slip out of their lips.
Kongpob bit his lips, he felt a lump on his chest which seemed soo heavy. Everything was soo fast, he doesn't even remember what happened after he fell unconscious after he heard Arthit shooting Jein.
"Good morning."
Kongpob and Arthit turned their head towards the entrance. They both waied at the doctor who smiled back at him.
The doctor checked on Kongpob's bandaged wound on his neck and did a basic test on it before he checked the charts of his patient.
"You're doing good, Mr Suttilak." The doctor directed a smile to Kongpob who nodded his head. The name somehow sends shivers all over the younger.
"After this IV ends you can take him home." The doctor faced Arthit who nodded his head.
"Try to talk during times, don't stay quiet for long. The wound isn't that deep but you lost a lot of blood. Take care and take the medicines proscribed at the correct time." The doctor patted Arthit's shoulder before he excused himself out of the room.
Kongpob gulped. He slowly raised his hand and took hold of Arthit's arm.
Arthit looked down at his arm. He sighed, feeling himself break inside for an unknown reason. Kongpob pulled Arthit's hand making him sit on the bed. Slowly raising his hand, Kongpob placed it on Arthit's bruised lips.
"After you fell unconscious Dan threw the lighter. I shot him after that and asked Dad and Mom to run outside. You fell unconscious so I took you out, and I checked Sam's room before going out too."
"Our house got on fire when I came down from Sam's room. I got this burn that time." Arthit pointed at his neck.
"This bruise, I don't know when this happened." Arthit pointed at his lips, shrugging his shoulders.
"Is-is everyone okay?" Kongpob shuttered, clearing his throat a little as he spoke.
Arthit smiled softly, reaching his hand out he caressed Kongpob's cheeks.
