"How many times are you watching that today?" Bae ask me while putting a cup of coffee in my table
"It's just, I feel this person is familiar to me" I said looking at my screen with intensity
I've been watching the file that Nayeon gave me many days ago, the one that caught in the cctv footage of my mom getting stab
"It must be familiar to you, who could ever stab your mom like that rather than someone who is close to you, your relatives or even someone you see everyday" she said sitting in her chair
I sighed
"Anyways, I think I know where will Kai will end up soon" I said biting my pen
"You know?"
"Well, Key said somewhere near Daegu and that place has only one prison, and that prison is near Nayeons' place, so I think I might make it work" I said looking at her
"How 'bout your work here?"
"Well I just got an idea" I said smirking like an idiot
"Officer Kim, what do you want?" Chief said as I enter his office
"Well, I've been thinking if I can have a break you know, like three days to one week I guess?" I said with full of confident
"Why is that Officer Kim?" He ask
"I've been stress this days Chief, and I want to spend my time with my mom, just this once Chief, this once" I plead
He sighed, that made me smirk in my mind, I'm winning this game
"Since you have a good record here, I'm sorry, best record here, I'll let you leave for a week. When are you starting though?" He ask
Yeah, when will I start?
"Tomorrow? Or the day after tomorrow? We'll see" I said and sent him a cheeky smile
"Okay, this serves your reward by putting Mr. Kim Jong In in prison, so enjoy" he said
"Thank you so much, Chief! God bless you!" I said full of excitement
"Same goes to you my dear, take care of your Mom for me" he said giving me a wink
"Thanks Dad, I will"
Dad and I have been planing to caught this culprit who stabbed my mom and this is my chance, he said I can take care of it as long as I won't hurt my self, on the other note, Dad told me everything about Kai's transfer. So I did make a move.
Walking down the stairs I saw Taemin going out of the headquarters, I grabbed his arms and pulled him to our office.
"Yow Jennie, chill out dude, I thought I did crime" he said
"I need your help" I said
"What help?"
"Meet me at my apartment 6 pm sharp" I said as he nod
4:58 pm
"Hey mom I'm here!" I shouted as I entered her apartment
"Oh honey, glad you came I cooked you food" she said placing the Seolleongtang a Korean Ox bone soup
I sat down infront of her and started to dig in
"By the way Mom, is Auntie Jill's store still open?"
"Yes honey, why?"
"Well, I'm buying some for my nephew"
"Yeah, it's until 8:00 in the evening"
While mom is cleaning the dishes I decided to roam around her room, and notice that there was a hidden camera beside her lamp
"Mom! Come here quick!"
Mom rushed beside me as I pulled aside the lamp
"When the fuck, did you own this? Mom it's been recording you!" I said
"I don't know, I think you Dad put that up"
"When?"
"Last three months was his last visit here"
"Last three months. Where does this connected to?"
"I don't know dear, find if there's a memory card there"
"It does" I said pulling out the card
"What are you planning Jennie?"
"Nothing mom, just be safe here Love you!" I said getting out quickly at her apartment
"Be safe Jennie!" She shouted as I nod
5:49 pm
"Hi auntie!" I greeted her
"Oh, hi Jennie, how may I help you"
I pulled out an orange jumpsuit and show it to her
"Here, how much is this?"
"It cost 8 dollars dear"
8 dollars? Sounds good
"Okay, another thing is do you have some hair dye here?"
"Yeah, yeah, I do have some though, what color do you want?" She said letting out some hair dye
"I'll take the black one"
"It'll be 10 dollars my dear" she said as I handed her the money
"Thank you auntie, hope to see you again soon!"
Walking to my hallway I already saw Taemin leaning at my door
"I thought it's 6 pm sharp officer Kim, why did you come late?" He ask
"You don't care, get inside"
"So what do you want me to do?" He ask as he jumped at my bed
"You have a big role" I said throwing the things I bought for him
"So smart, Jennie Ruby Jane. You know what? You shouldn't bought this, why? Me and Kai can exchange clothes inside the car"
"How'd you know my plan?"
"Well, if you watch a lot of action movies, you'll know about this plus I know this is coming"
"My problem is, what of they'll found out that I'm not really Kai?" He ask
"Later to answer that, first dye your hair to black"
"I can't believe I'm doing this for Kai"
Many hours of thinking I've thought of this dumb idea
"Just keep your head low as long as possible, I guess"
"What a fantastic idea!"
"Then how?" I shouted out of frustration
"Let Key and Bae send me to jail" he said
"Fuck, you're good at this"
"I'm hella good at this"
So as Taemin dried his hair with my spare towel I dialed Irene's number and luckily she pick up fast.
"Jen, wassup?" She said
"I need your help"
"Spit it out"
"Help me"
"When?"
"Meet me at the coffee shop tomorrow" I said so that we will be clear
"Sure"
She said as I ended the call, I turn over to Taemin who is now talking to the phone
"I explained everything to Key, and his in"
"Good"
"So when's the cue?"
"Soon"
I hope this will be a successful shitty plan of mine.
