"Luka! Please, wake up soon..."
~
Silky handed me a basket of herbs, accompanied by a thin piece of cloth. Her, usually blank, expression stared at me with grief, "Yeah. I hope they wake up." Noticing slight commotion outside, Silky and I moved towards the window: Chise laid on the stone floor with Ruth hovering over her legs. The fairy chimed a small handbell to catch their attention. "Silky, Blake. How's Elias or Luka?" I leaned on the wall by the window before Silky answered the robin's question. Her green eyes averted to the wall when she received an undesirable answer, "Still?" Dusting herself off, she marched up to Elias' room. As they arrived, I rested on a step, while Ruth perched behind Chise, "Elias...It seems like breakfast is ready." Unexpectedly, the voice of an idiot bonehead replied, "Ah, sorry. Can you tell Silver that I don't need to eat today, either?"

Chise gazed at her familiar while I settled my head on my arm, "I wonder what's wrong with him. It's been two weeks since we got back from the church, and he still hasn't come out of his room."
"Why don't you open the door and ask?" Chise contemplated opening the door until my voice rang, "I wouldn't do that," The two turned to me as they waited to hear the reason, "It's the same with Sleigh Beggies. You and Luka took three days to recover from the incident in the Kingdom of Cats because you strained your body. Elias' transformation took a massive toll on his body." My amber eyes drifted to the basket when I imagined my master being here with me until a shot of pain hit my chest. "Blake, why didn't anything happen to you?" Chise's voice pulled me out of my trance while they listened intently to me, "My other form is the real me." After noticing Chise's wide eyes, I focused on the floor when I recalled a dear memory, "When Luka saw it for the first time, I was ready for her to get rid of me, but instead, she made me her familiar, and I promised to avoid transforming." I smiled to myself at the thought of my master.

Standing up, I made my way downstairs with the other two behind me. I drowned out their speech as I grabbed a glass of water. Silky picked up a wallet from the shelf and yanked Chise's coat off the hanger, "You're going to kick them out?" She nodded after I set the glass in the sink; I watched her jog towards Chise to shove the two items in her arms. As Silky kicked them out, I walked out after them. The fairy, in pink, waved goodbye to us, soon closing the door as it creaked. Before I started strolling towards the entrance of the forest, I glanced at the redhead, "Chise. I can tell you about our past when we come back." Her jaw dropped slightly. Wanting to see Luka, I began to leave without an answer from the robin until she regained her composure, "Yes please!" I waved at the two, still facing forwards, "Have fun, kid."

Finally reaching the magical trunk, a lily-coloured cloth laid out with a certain Sleigh Beggy snoozing on it. My hand pushed against my waist as a silver-haired sorcerer caressed my master's cheek, "What are you doing here?" Distaste dripped in my voice until he backed away from Luka; his mannerisms appeared different, for a frown smeared on his lips. After gritting his teeth, his signature smirk returned yet it seemed insincere, "Don't be so angry, Little Hybrid. I'm only admiring my sleeping beauty." Carrying on with my task, I ignored my infuriating nickname while preserving my apathetic demeanour, which earned a snicker from the sorcerer.

I planted myself by Luka as I waited for the unwanted visitor to depart, "I don't know how my master views you, but I'll always see you as Cartaphilus," He flinched at the cursed name while he gnawed his lip and clenched his fist. "The man who buried 'his sleeping beauty' in the ground." The Jew's arm morphed into a demonic form as his irises narrowed when I hit a raw nerve. As he bolted towards me, I stayed in my position while supporting my chin on my palm. Whispers crowded the air, "It hurts. It hurts." The sun abandoned the sky when Cartaphilus struck, only for me to dodge, "You don't know what it feels like to rot alive, you stupid cat! You have an eternal light beside you, yet my memories of her are disappearing." Snatching his possessed arm, I launched him towards a tree although he recovered his balance, like a cat landing from a tower; his blue eyes shifted to the Queen behind me before his orbs filled with distress. Without notice, his arm reverted as he disappeared in the darkness of the forest. The smog vanished into thin air to revive the brightness of the land.
