Some would find living alone as an escape from the clutches of their overbearing parents and enjoy the life of independence. But when there are two or three people violently knocking on a girl's door, that would really scare her. Living alone without adults and with a huge debt to pay, this kind of life wouldn't be easy for Chinami.

"Hey, missy!" A loud voice from behind Chinami's door shouted. "We just need to collect your payment! Don't need to get freaked out. Hey!"

Chinami enveloped herself tightly with her blanket as she tried to suppress her screams of fear, acting like no one was at home.

They continued to violently knock on Chinami's door and she would continually act like no one was arround. After a few more minutes of violently knocks, the men outside of Chinami's apartment decided that it was enough and left with one last loud bang, making Chinami flinch. When it felt like the coast was clear, she unwrapped herself from her blanket and looked outside from the window by her small kitchen then heaved out a sigh. She looked at the wall clock and decided to get ready for school.

Uniform neat. Hair fixed. Shoes on. Bag in hand. Door locked.

Another fantastic day. Please note the sarcasm.

With a rough start for an early morning, it felt like Chinami was drained of all energy. Her energy for school and for her part-time was all gone just because of what happened that morning.

She sighed.

If only she would be able to fully pay her father's debt without trouble. If only her father could pay his debt without disappearing. That would be great. But nope, she needed to go through all the trouble just because they were related by blood.

She sighed again.

Chinami was on her way to school. She had her favorite novel in one hand as her other held the bag that carried her lunch box. As usual, on the way to school was filled with chatters, and as usual it was a bit noisy for her who hated commotion.

"Good morning, Chinami!" Nana, like any other day, attacked Chinami from behind, enveloping her in a tight hug.

"I told you to stop this." Chinami fixed her posture and smoothened her uniform. "It's getting annoying."

"And I won't stop." Nana crossed her hands on her chest while wearing a smug and proud look. "I told you that greeting you normally is boring. I want to start our mornings with a bang!"

"And you know how I hate bangs." Chinami rolled her eyes then started to walk.

"So," Nana started, walking beside Chinami with both hands on her back, "how was your part-time job?"

It had been a couple of days ever since she started working for IDOLiSH7. From the practice room to tapings for variety shows, to online programs, it had been a bit hectic for Chinami as the personal assistant of the rising idol group. It had been hectic but it had been fun. The members of IDOLiSH7 were welcoming and were ver friendly. She immediately felt comfortable.

And in those days, Chinami had no time with other things. Including a time with Nana. Nana understood her situation very well and it couldn't be helped. But she could not help but feel lonely.

"If ever you need help, Chinami, don't hesitate to ask me, okay?"

Nana's soft and caring smile made Chinami's cold heart melt. She was truly blessed to have people who support her.

"So," Nana once again started, peering at Chinami's face with a expectant look, "how was it?"

Chinami sighed. She won't stop unless I report to her. She said inside her head as creases formed on her forehead. "It was a bit hectic but nevertheless I had fun."
