Eleanor's Eyes shot open, taking the heaviest breath she has ever taken. She felt a light tingling feeling all over her body before it faded away. Her eyes frantically moved around to her an image of her surroundings only to find a group of animals standing around her. Most seemed to be whispering to each other or looking at Eleanor in amazement, or both. "Out of the way everyone!" She heard a voice in the distance. A gap was made in the deformed circle that enclosed her. The face of a rhinoceros quickly came into view making Eleanor flinch. Eleanor slowly sat up almost without thinking, her brain couldn't process what was happening. Her head felt like it was and although there was no pain, she groaned anyway. The group gasped when she finally made a noise. The rhino in police clothing carefully leaned down to asked Eleanor for her name but she couldn't respond, her throat was to dry. The rhino then asked how and why she was laying in the centre of the park but, Eleanor didn't answer that either. After looking around even more she noticed trees, benches, and especially more animals. They were all wearing clothes, shoes, and all of them were standing on two legs. But the most out of place thing is, they were talking to each other.

"Where am I?" Eleanor finally spoke which caused more whispers and odd looks.

"Is the human okay?" She herd a feminine voice ask in the crowd.

"I think the more important question is, how did this human get here." A deeper voice responded. The rhino looked around nervously.

     "What's your name?" He asked.

"It's Eleanor." She answered and it seemed that her brain began to work again. I thought I was hit by a train. Shouldn't I be dead? She thought. Eleanor gasped and looked down at herself, at first glance she seemed to look the same. The rhino spoke up again.

"Um, why don't you come with me, I'll take you to see the mayor." The officer suggest but Eleanor shook her head.

"Wait," Eleanor stood up a little too quickly for her bodies liking, "I want to know how I got here." Eleanor spoke up.

"We saw you lying on the sidewalk sweetie, so we came to look. I don't think anyone saw how you ended up here." The little chipmunk stepped forward and explained. Eleanor looked at the chipmunk then back at the rhino.

"I think it's best to see the mayor." He said. Eleanor hesitated but gave in and nodded. The rhino led the way while Eleanor followed, still very shocked and confused.

The ride wasn't too far from the park but Eleanor's brain was full of many different emotions. The biggest one was confusion of course but there was also anger. How could she be so stupid and fall down onto the tracks. Now she's in some kind of world with talking animals. I don't know what will happen or what they'll do to me. How am I supposed to explain myself? "Ma'am?" The rhino said from the front seat and they arrived. Instead of being around trees In a park, she was now in front of a large building. The two walked to the building and up the many steps then through one of the many different sized doors. The building was open and light from all the windows.

"Officer, how may I help you today?" The receptionist, who was a giraffe, asked with a smile.

"I need to speak with the mayor."

The mayor was nice and helpfully. He tried to help Eleanor remember how she got to the park but no matter how hard she tried she didn't know. She didn't even know how she got there. The mayor also asked about her parents or where she might live but Eleanor didn't have either of those things in whatever world this was.

After talking longer with the mayor, he decided to let Eleanor continue her life here. School was discussed between the two and once he heard that she hadn't graduated yet, he encouraged her to join Cherryton High. Of course that was only if Eleanor decided to stay. Right then and there she agreed. It sounded silly but Eleanor didn't know when she would be back in her other life or if she was even able to. She concluded that it would be best to go to school. It would also give her comfort at the thought of continuing her life as closely as she could to her other one.
