After a long conversation Heechul finally got bored and said he would be taking a nap. Donghae followed as usual leaving Kyuhyun and Changmin alone.

“Do you want to take a nap too?” Kyuhyun teased his cellmate and pinched his cheeks. Changmin chuckled and playfully pushed the shorter man.

“I’m not a kid Kyu,” he laughed.

“Oh yeah. We have shared this cell for two weeks and I don’t even know how old you are,” Kyuhyun said and leaned against the wall.

“I’m twenty-six,” Changmin said and scratched his chin.

“Me too. I was born in February,” Kyuhyun sounded surprised. Changmin started grinning.

“Me too.”

“Really!?” Kyuhyun asked with a loud voice. Changmin nodded and slowly approached Kyuhyun.

“I was born on the eighteenth.”

“Oh good. I’m still your hyung,” Kyuhyun sighed in relief. How embarrassing it would have been if his only follower would have been older than him. Changmin pressed his hand against the wall next to Kyuhyun’s head. They both just smiled at each other. Changmin felt his heart race when he looked deep into Kyuhyun’s eyes.

“You wanted to know about Donghae’s jail romance, right?” Kyuhyun asked and wrapped his arms around Changmin’s waist before playfully pushing him as if trying to wrestle with him.

“Watch your head,” Kyuhyun warned his tall friend before pushing him closer to the bed.

Changmin felt his legs hit the edge of the bed. He smirked and fell on his back pulling Kyuhyun down with him.

“Hyung tell me a bedtime story,” he said trying to sound cute and childish. Changmin was lying on his back with Kyuhyun on top of him. Kyuhyun moved a bit trying to make himself more comfortable.

“Okay if you are interested about Donghae’s love life I’ll tell you,” he said after finding a comfortable position. Changmin nodded and wrapped his arms around Kyuhyun.

It started about a year after Kyuhyun had entered the prison. There were rumours about some new guy who had just arrived. He would be placed in the cell next to Heechul’s and Donghae’s. At that time Kyuhyun was sharing his cell with a big guy who hated him more than anything. He wasn’t particularly interested about the new guy because it had nothing to do with him. Heechul was cold as usual. Only Donghae showed any interest.

Unlike Heechul, Donghae and Kyuhyun, the new guy would only be spending a couple of years in jail. When they heard the door buzzer Donghae rushed to see how ne new guy looked like. He was skinny but muscular. He had a beautiful and strong jawline and a handsome face. Donghae was smiling. The guard stopped the blonde man so he could open the cell door. He was a handsome man. He turned his head and noticed Donghae staring at him. They shared a long look before the guard managed to open the door. Donghae received a smile from the new guy before he disappeared into his cell. It was the first time Donghae had felt the way he was feeling.

The next day everyone was ordered to go outside. Donghae immediately looked for the handsome blonde man. He was sitting on a bench all alone.

“You look like you need company,” Donghae said and sat next to the man. He lifted his head and smiled.

“You are the stalker from yesterday,” he said earning a laugh from Donghae.

“I’m Donghae.”

“Eunhyuk,” the blonde man introduced himself and nervously played with his fingers.

“Don’t be scared. The guy you are sharing a cell with is not a bad guy. Jungsu won’t hurt you,” Donghae said and put his hand on Eunhyuk’s shoulder.

At that moment the two knew they would become good friends. They talked every day and spent their time together whenever they were ordered to go outside. On the second week Donghae noticed something different about his friend. They had gotten to know each other pretty well and Donghae trusted Eunhyuk. Something felt wrong. Eunhyuk had started to avoid him. After a couple of days they were taken to the yard once again. Donghae quickly found his way to Eunhyuk who was sitting alone.

“What the fuck dude!” he yelled and slapped Eunhyuk’s head.

“Why are you avoiding me?” Eunhyuk didn’t say a word. Donghae heard a sob.

“Are you—crying?” Donghae asked and sat next to his friend.

“I’m sorry I wasn’t supposed to hit you so hard,” he said and wrapped his arms around the blonde male, pressing the man’s head against his chest. They sat there for a while. Suddenly Eunhyuk yanked himself away from Donghae and put his hands on his friend’s cheeks. They didn’t say anything. Eunhyuk started to approach Donghae slowly. Donghae swallowed loudly. He wrapped his arms around Eunhyuk’s waist and quickly pulled him closer, pressing their lips together.

The kiss changed everything. Instead of calling each other friends, words like “my love” and “honey” started to become more common. Heechul had started to talk to Kyuhyun instead of his cellmate who was blinded by love.

“Those two are starting to get on my nerves,” Heechul whined and took a quick look at his cellmate who was talking to his “lover”. Kyuhyun just grinned. His cellmate had been released a few weeks ago and he was still alone in his cell.

“Stop smiling like an idiot. You will be getting a new jerk in few weeks,” Heechul said sounding very annoyed. Well who wouldn’t be annoyed when forced to live with someone who sweet talked to some guy all the time.

It had been almost two years since Eunhyuk arrived. Heechul had been right when he said that Kyuhyun would be getting a new cellmate soon. The new guy was a bigger jerk than the last one. Things between Donghae and Eunhyuk were getting serious. They had made love numerous of times and they told each other everything.

“I love you Lee Donghae,” Eunhyuk panted and laid down next to his lover. Donghae snuggled close to the blonde man and laid his head on Eunhyuk’s muscular chest.

“I love you too Eunhyuk,” he said and caressed his lover’s chest.

“Donghae I should tell you something,” Eunhyuk said while playing with Donghae’s dark and soft hair. Donghae closed his eyes.

“Hmm you can tell me anything.” Eunhyuk bit his lower lip. He hadn’t been completely honest with his lover.

“My real name isn’t Eunhyuk.”

“WHAT!?” Donghae snapped and sat up. He grabbed his grey jail uniform and started to get dressed.

“No no baby don’t react like that,” Eunhyuk said and reached for Donghae’s hand.

Donghae took a deep breath and sat down again. It was better to listen than run away.

“My real name is Lee Hyukjae,” the blonde man said.

“I have trust issues and I was afraid to tell anyone my real name. But after I started to get to know you I also started to regret that I never told you my real name,” he explained. Donghae wasn’t sure if he should say something or not. He just leaned forward and kissed his lover.

“Oh my Hyukkie. If everything else you told me is true I don’t care about some stupid little lie you came up with when feeling vulnerable,” he said and hugged the man he loved. Hyukjae felt tears fall on his cheek.

“Hae I’m being released in two weeks.”

After Hyukjae was gone Donghae felt heartbroken. His lover had promised to visit him every once in a while. He had said that he lived nowhere near the prison but would drive a long distance just to see Donghae. It went on for half a year. Suddenly the blonde male stopped visiting him. The guard delivered Donghae a message from his lover. It said that Hyukjae’s parents made him stop visiting him. They had arranged him a marriage with a girl and he had to obey them.

“We both know that you are never getting out of prison but I will still love you for the rest of my life,” were the last words written on the note. A year later Donghae was informed that his lover had committed suicide.
