Allie lands face first as she failed to dodge her 'sensei's' attack at her with his 'bokken'. He sighs as that was the third time it happened today. Sitting down next to her while she pants, he asks, "You gotten rusty, something happened?"

A heavy sigh was heard. "Weird shit happened last night, Claire told me i was crying, then this morning, Adrian kept his mouth shut when a box appeared out of nowhere."

Its not noticeable but the man next to him stiffen on the mention of it. His life 100 years ago flashed before his eyes as Allie continued to talk about the contents of it.

Demons, creatures that feast on humans, Demon slayers, the people that protected humanity all those years ago.

Blood, his family dying right in front of him, ice, forming at the corners of his house until the Ice Pillar himself appeared out of thin air, light blue blade, now covered in blood as he kills the creature with beautiful ice mist surrounding him. Blue scarf, now wrapped around his neck, warm hands bring him to one mansion to another, callus hands now replaced his smooth ones.

The Final Selection, only he survived, he dons the uniform, the haori with care, soon he stands on the same ground as the infamous Hashiras. Love, he meets his wife that left his heart thundering. His son, whom his wife named after him, he had loved dearly.

The man holds his hand with the same warmth he felt all those years ago, gives him a smile, promises that he won't forget, he closes his eyes and his sensei's words were his last thoughts.

"You did great out there."

"You think so?"

"I know so."

"Ah I see....you did too..."

"Well, why don't you take some rest, you deserved it after all the hard-work you did."

"Thank you.....sensei...."

Tears fall down as Allie frantically tries to wipe them, she doesn't know what happened or if she said something offensive— all she knows that she has to comfort him and apologize.

The man's eyes were sad and Allie didn't like such emotion, as beautiful as it is, no amount of books can make her fully understand what Sadness is.

She settles with the sleeves of her training uniform. Raiden has always been loud and emotional, but she never actually saw him cry. For four years she took swordmanship lessons from the man, he looked lonely, quietly tending to his workshop with a faraway look.

That didn't sit right with Allie, as someone who loved making people smile she made it her goal to see him laugh.

With words of encouragement from her two friends and permission from her parents (Claire called her an over achiever), she approached him with a bright smile and asked if his lessons are still open.

The spark on his eyes was something Allie will never forget.

She gotta admit, training under him made her notice a few things. Raiden is fast, too fast. She swears she can see lightning whenever he moves.

His breathing pattern is different, she doesnt know if its bad or if it helps him, she doesn't ask. Wandering around his place, she discovered a lot.

At the backyard, a boulder, larger than the walls of his house, cut in half, there was a yellow sword mounted right in front. BREATH OF THUNDER was what written on the plaque sign. A haori with blue gradient and black triangles as patterns was displayed at the end of the hallway.

Several pictures are carefully hung, one had caught her attention, a man with a calm smile and purple eyes. She felt like she had met him before.

past life? Was that why she felt the need to see him smile? Because they have met before-

Raiden stand up abruptly and bowed at Allie and sent her home with urgency. Leaving her confused. She stares at her hands for a few seconds before finally standing up and changing her uniform, bringing with her the box that started all these uneasiness.

She stands by the door, looking up at the darkening sky, she really needs to come home quick.

Dinner was great, Ma fried some homemade lumpia, Pa brought out the speakers and blasted loud music and her sister went ape shit and sang along. At least the day will be ending peacefully—

Its time

Her head erupted with pain as soon as she closed her bedroom door, legs unwillingly give out as she feels the hard floor.

Massaging her forehead in hopes that it will subside the incredible pain, she stands up, though slow, and looks for anything....medicine— YES—

Shaking hands tries to pry open the cabinet where she last placed her painkillers...

Are you sure? She's nowhere near ready.

Yes.

Very well.

Her hands turned numb and it frustrates her as her head throbs in pain, its as if sharp pins prick her again and again. Black spots appear in her sight and she knows that's not right, then tears leave her.

But why is it red— shit— its fucking blood— Her blood is flowing out of her eyes and she panics.

Air is knocked out of her lungs as she struggles to breath properly and her heart wrenches, literally. She falls to her knees as bloodied hands clutches to her shirt. She desperately gasp for air to enter her lungs.

Her body falls limp as she silently writhes in pain. No sound escape her. Eternity made sure of that.

Then everything went dark.

.
.
.

"Who the fuck are you kid!?" The man in front of her screams as he tries to stop the bleeding on his shoulder. Who? W-what? The fuck-

Light returned to her bloodshot eyes.

"AH! Stay away from me! You bitch!" Her hands drops the knife she was holding as she takes a step back. Fear was visible in his eyes. Her eyes widen as shakily takes a breath and looks around.

Blood was everywhere- random men lie on the ground before her, struggling to breathe. Someone even had a pipe going through their chest-

oh god is that man's arm broken-

A hamd grabs hers and asks her to run. No words registers as her mind wanders. She touches her face and feels no blood, her heart feels fine though beating fast and her lungs are working properly and even if her breaths has become haggard.

She feels no pain even if the people in front of her does. That oddly gives her satisfaction as she doesn't feel any remorse or guilt— those are foreign to her too.

Then she hears the man behind her groan as he ties to reach in his pockets. Her senses tell her something bad will happen. She pivoted her body to quickly disarm the man, arm ready to block him-

.
.
.

Three loud bangs were heard. The person that grabbed her hand screamed and the world lost a life that day......

.
.
.

In another world at the same time, a creature turns to dust as a man sheathes his weapon. He looks up at the sun slowly setting, creating a beautiful portrait of the sky.

He would have enjoyed it if it weren't for a crow flying and calling out his name.

The man smiles and continues to walk down the mountain, he picks up the unconscious child that he stumbled into while looking for the creature. Exhaustion may have taken over the kid as it sleeps peacefully.

He passes by a hut and knocks. The family thanked him for returning their only daughter and invite him for a dinner, its the least they can do.

He declines and asks for a writing brush and paper, there's a letter he must send immediately. A few minutes later the leader of the Corps smiles.

"The Blue Blood Pillar has awaken once again Kagaya, find her, bring an end to this nightmare."
