3rd POV
Reisui Shikori,
Remember the siblings you saved a few weeks ago? Him, Sabito and Makomo are getting along well. I have also taught Giyuu on how to write letters to her sister. Now they have been asking for training. I am a bit hesistant, most of my previous students all fell in the hands of that demon. I don't want the three to face the same fate, but if they want this path, then so be it.
Seems like you have a new student. It's about damn time you have someone else to annoy than us retired pillars. Though Shinjuro is still active. Hopefully your cultivating skills are still as cold as before. Good luck, we'll both need it.

(I don't know how letters work anymore ‾︿‾ )Shikori chuckled. He wasn't quite expecting to get a reply from the newly retired Water Pillar. A small smile made it's way to his face as he remembered what had happened those few weeks ago.
He managed to arrive just before the demon land it's final blow that would ultimately kill Tsutako.
Shikori wasn't able to kill the demon as it immediately ran away when it recognized the snow-white hair of the Pillar. However, he could care less as his priority was young girl infront of him and the child hiding.
He quickly bandaged her up while calming down the kid who he assumed as the girl's younger brother when he heard him muttering nee-san over and over again.
He brought the two of them to the town's doctor as there are no Wisteria House nearby. The doctor seemed to recognized the siblings and ordered someone to call 'Shiro'.
Must be her fiance.
A few hours later Shikori had managed to calm everyone down and explained what had happened. Everyone was worried but he still heard mutterings that their supposed wedding was tomorrow and that they can't afford to postpone it.
Shiro, blessed his soul, had told them that they should be ashamed of worrying about the wedding than praying for his fiance's health. Both him and the kid haven't left her side for quite some time.
Glad to know what they have is genuine love.
Speaking of the kid. Shikori was half expecting him to thank him for saving them and go on with his life. Except...
"Hey there, I have been looking for you actually-" He asked with a voice that can calm even M̶u̶z̶a̶n̶ the strongest waves.
The kid stuttered a bit before answering. "G-Giyuu...."
"Ah, well Giyuu, I wanted to ask if you and your sister will be alright after all this, I have to leave soon..." He's not lying though, he has to report to Oyakata-sama and if he has time he might make an excuse to check up on them.
Giyuu looked up to him with determination in his eyes. "Oni-san is there a way to be like you?"
"You mean like a demon slayer? But why?" Giyuu was silent for a while until Shikori had told him that he doesn't have to answer it immediately as he doesn't have to be one. He will be willing to hear Giyuu's answer once he made up his mind. And left him at that.
But he knows that his determination is fueled by the desire to protect others as he's always been protected. That's Tomioka Giyuu for you.
In the end Shikori had ended up bringing the kid along with him once Tsutako had woken up. She was heartbroken when she learned that her baby brother had to leave. But she understood him. She did make him promise to attend her wedding once she recovered. Not to mention that Tsutako also threatened Shikori if anything happens to her brother she will personally hunt him down and hang his body-
