Tension filled the air as Allie feels her knees shake. She has never felt such a heavy aura coming from one person. Not even Shikori's combat mode can even compete with them.
So this is Shikori-san's mentor. Never knew standing still can strike fear to a person down to it's core.
Blackrose must have noticed it as she cocked her head to the right.
"I'm suprised Shikori had come to me to train a mere kid like you." She chuckled and placed the bokken on her shoulder. Allie huffed as she feels the tension balanced out.
"Was that supposed to be a compliment?"
The masked woman brought the bokken forward and pointed the tip to Allie. Black mist surrounded the sword as it slowly turn to a real blade. Quite unfair as her's is still a wooden stick.
"It is my dear Allie, out of every former student of mine, Shikori has the highest success when training others on his own."
Blackrose leaned forward and dashed toward Allie with a killing intent she just noticed a second too late. And all hell breaks loose.
She blinks, her opponent was right at her face with the blade just one swing away. She made a move block the sword with hers but it slices air as Blackrose disappeared from her line of sight when she blinked again.
She looked from left to right to find her. Turning around just in time to raise her sword high enough clash with the other. There was force as she struggled to push forward. The little stare down they had was cut short when blood spurted from her face, she jumps a few steps back. There are cuts, she notices.
She can move faster than a naked eye can see!?
Before she could observe her opponent, there was a gust of wind and her face was met with Blackrose's fist, sending her crashing down not too far away. She groans at the pain, her head spinning as a figure inching closer to her.
Using her sword as a prop to get up she used her other hand to wipe the blood that was trickling down, letting out a grunt. "What the fuck...."
"Unpredictability. The element of surprise should always be on our side, it helps us in more ways than one."
That was Allie's first lesson.
She stands up straight and takes a deep breath. Using her Total Concentration Breathing to boost her speed, she bolted forward, with her immense speed it made her disappear out of thin air. However it seems that Blackrose already knew the trick as she averts her gaze up.
Allie had jumped high enough for her to twist her body to position her sword, making sure she lands at least a decent hit to the other. Though her plan had failed when Blackrose simply raised her arm to block the attack and at the same time to grab the end of the blade and to bring the kid forward with ease.
However just as they're right face to face, the child grins and twisted her body. She lands smoothly, although she would've landed pretty roughly if her wooden sword didn't go through Blackrose as if she's transparent.
The eyes hidden behind the mask widen. Now that's something Blackrose hasn't seen in a thousand years. She grins widely and backflips. She finds Allie with confused eyes, she decides she wants to see that again. "There's no time to gawk around kid! Let's see if you can do that again!"
