i had started working at my parents coffee shop when i was young. i'm 16 now, and for the last about 3 months this boy, named craig, would come in and order the same thing and chat with me when i was on my break. i had known him from school but we'd never talked. i didn't think the craig tucker would want to talk to me. it was nice to have a friend that didn't judge me for my twitches or anything. it was more relaxing. my tics have gotten better since i met craig. i think he calms me down or something weird like that. i think i'm starting to have a crush on craig. he just so nice to me, not to mention he's tall and he's pretty hot. my parents just went out to the mccormick's house for our "extra ingredient", they said they'd be back in 2 hours so i have some time to kill. the shop is empty so i put on my playlist of songs i made for craig based on what i knew about him. he'd be coming in soon, about 5 minutes. since it's my break soon i decided to close up shop after craig got here so i didn't have to work during my break. i soon heard the door open and a monotone voice call out.
"hey tweekers." i looked over at craig who had a smile on his face. i can't believe the craig tucker, the most emotionless person i know, just smiled at me. i just blushed and turned the sign to closed and locked the door.
"hey craig!" i replied happily. i got him his usual order and he sat down at our usual booth. i went to sit across from him but instead he patted next to him. i sat next to him and he pulled me closer. i cuddled into his chest.
"you look amazing tweek." craig said with warmth in his voice. i was surprised craig would show so much emotion, but hey i wasn't complaining!
"thank you craigy" i responded yawning. man being so warm will make you tired. it had only been about 5 minutes since craig came, but it felt like 20. i loved spending time with him.
"tweek honey you can fall asleep. i promise i'll still be here when you wake up. i'll wake you up in 25 minutes, okay?" craig asked. i just scooted closer and nodded into his chest. i smelled his cologne and it made me feel so warm and fuzzy inside. i couldn't fall asleep immediately though. i just closed my eyes and focused on craig's breathing. suddenly i felt a hand running through my hair. craig was so gentle with how he played with my hair. he went slow so it didn't hurt me.
"if only you knew how much i loved you tweek. i promise that one day i will marry you. it might take some work but i'm willing to work my ass off for you baby. we'll get married, and we'll adopt kids, i know how much you like that idea. i wish i talked to you sooner. i've just always been too much of a pussy to actually say anything to you. i have a soft spot for you tweek. i hope you know that. i love you." craig kissed me softly on the head. i tried my hardest to try not to cry tears of love.
it took all of my courage, but i finally responded "i love you too craig. and i can promise one day you will marry me and we'll adopt kids. i promise you that." craig stopped running his fingers though my hair from shock. i looked up at him and gave him a quick kiss. i crawled into his lap and just hid my face in his shoulder. i felt craig's finger on my chin, signaling for me to look up at him. he kissed me again. it was a kiss filled with love. when we finally pulled away he said.
"so you were awake huh? well i guess you have to be my boyfriend now." craig said cockily while winking. i blushed and buried my face into his neck. we cuddled for a little more before i had to open shop again. i gave him a goodbye kiss. i went back to the counter and looked out the window. i saw craig breathing hot air onto the glass and writing "i ❤️ u". i awed at him until i realized i had to clean that. i just flipped him off and he laughed. he walked away after a minute. craig kept his promise, and proposed to me inside tweek bro's coffee, right where we met.
