Prompt: Bandaging Wounds

Finally got a whump prompt done wOO- this one would be day 30 if I was actually doing the prompts day by day? Buuuuttttt….. nah.

Dream groaned a bit. At the moment, George was bandaging an injury the younger had managed to get and he'd gotten annoyed. Why had Dream gotten annoyed exactly? This wasn't the first injury he'd had, nor would it be the last. He knows how to bandage wounds. Yet George insisted that he should do it.

"George, really, I'm fine," Dream said, trying to urge his friend to stop. He could do this on his own, couldn't George realize it?

George shook his head, "Dream, this looks worse then usual. I-I'm just worried. Seriously, what did you encounter that you got this bad a injury? It was bleeding through your sleeve, and I'm pretty sure that it's going to be stained." He then pointed to Dream's other arm, "and there is a burnt bit of your sleeve. And a burnt mark on your skin." Dream cringed at the memory of the event that had happened earlier. The event that led him to gain those injuries along with a few other scratches on him.

He was surrounded by three skeletons. They all had enchanted armor, two having iron helmets and chesplates and the third having a diamond chestmate, pants, and boots. Dream guessed they all had protection and the third probably had thorns on at least one armor piece because he did harm it earlier. He just felt pain inflicted to himself too. He groaned a bit before gasping in pain. He looked at his arm and winced a little. One of the skeletons had a fire bow. Great. He pulled it out quickly and held onto his arm with a frown. He then dodged some of the other arrows, trying to escape. The skeletons stayed hot on his tail.

"It's… kinda stupid, really," Dream murmured, looking away from his friend. George gave him a worried look.

Dream tried to swiftly dodge an arrow but then hissed in pain. It took him a moment to register what just happened. The diamond armored skeleton had shot him. And it hurt.

George shook his head, "Dream, just tell me what happened. I'm not going to judge you or anything."

It hurt so much. What kind of enchantment did that skeleton have on his bow? Power?? How much?! The mask-wearing man hissed in pain. He then took a look at his arm and regretted it immediately.

Dream just thought about it and sighed, "Three skeletons. Two had stupid enchanted bows. Probably some high number like 'Power Five' for the diamond armored one."

"Seriously, diamond armor? It wasn't a full set right because if so that's too much," George commented, just thinking about a full set, diamond armor wearing skeleton. He was able to sigh with relief though when Dream shook his head no.

Dream looked away from his arm. Once again regretting his decision. He'd finally gotten away from the skeletons. Now? He was just catching his breath. How was he going to explain this to Sap and George? He hoped they would both be asleep. He didn't want to tell them about this.

"At least one piece had Thorns though," Dream told the older, "Tried hitting it. Luckily it was before I got shot by arrows." George just winced. Thorns could be really painful depending on what level it was. 

George looked at the arm he finished wrapping before asking, "Mind if I do the other, too?" Dream just looked at it, then at George, then at the arm again. "I got some medicine and such for fire damage."

Dream just sighed a little bit, "A-alright. You can do the other arm." George smiled and quickly went to grab the stuff he needed. Dream chuckled a little bit, surprised with himself. He never let anyone help him that easily.

"Heh, maybe I should let my guard down more often," Dream murmured to himself, waiting for the other to come back.

Ok this was relaxing to write. I kinda feel like I rushed at the end and for that I am sorry. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this nonetheless! I felt like I needed to do more with the Dteam… and I still do cause this doesn't even have Snapmap here. Ah well! I'm still working on the finale to Bracelets and the second part to 'Orphaned Trio' btw! I'm just also working on a few animations. And I also play games which I should really play less of… I can't help myself TwT anyways, yeah, vote if you want, I'm not going to do a ytber thing here. Maybe next chappie dough? :3
