Prompt - "You came back"

IDK either. Look, I would've posted a basic oneshot not like a twoshot but i lost power a while ago along with internet for a few days so i couldn't really type?? Sorry. I did write stuff but a lot of the stuff i wrote are also like...not oneshots. Im sorry-

Zelk just looked at his two friends in front of him and he sighed. He hated that he was moving away. He wished his mom had told him maybe two weeks in advance instead of one. She'd known for a while. She'd been getting ready. Why did she tell him a week before? 

They made sure that last week they were basically inseparable. Doing everything they could to make Zelk's last week the best week ever. But he still felt… sad. Of course he was going to he but he still felt like they could've done more. 

"Zelk… do you really have to go?" Skeppy asked upset, looking at his friend truly upset. There was a sigh and a nod.

There was suddenly scribbling and Zelk noticed Mega had his notepad out. He then held it out to show Zelk what he wrote. 'Make sure to stay in touch. You have my email.' Zelk chuckled and nodded.

"I promise I'll stay in touch," Zelk crossed his heart, "You two are my closest friends!" He then sighed a bit and walked over to them and handed them both handmade bracelets. Skeppy's was blue with a diamond[not a real one-] charm and Mega's was green with a rose charm. Zelk then showed his own, it was blue with a quill charm. He then explained, "So when we meet up one day, we can make sure we know it's each other."

Skeppy took a second to react, as if loading in the info. He slowly grew a giant grin and exclaimed, "mY GOSH ZELK! You're a genius!" Mega winced a little bit seeing as he was right next to the loud boy but they both giggled a little from Skeppy's reaction. 

'I think it's pretty cool too,' Mega wrote, 'We could even add stuff to them too if we want later.'

"Nothing too much though," Zelk said, "We need to keep the main charms recognizable. What if you two get seperated? You'll also need these." Skeppy and Mega looked a bit concerned at Zelk's statement, but nodded in agreement. Soon, Zelk heard his mom calling him over and he sighed a bit.

Mega then walked over and hugged Zelk, Skeppy following quickly. Zelk hugged them back and they didn't let go until Zelk's mom called him again. They all frowned and said their goodbyes and promises that they'd reunite one day. Skeppy and Mega left when their parents told them it was time. Texting each other on their drives home.

Skeppy watched as his younger friend was packing. He frowned deeply, freaking out. First, Zelk. Now Mega. It had been a year since Zelk moved away. The two still missed Zelk but they kept in touch via email… well until last month when he suddenly stopped responding to emails. 

Skeppy was scared. He...he didn't want to lose contact with his other friend. He looked at his charm bracelet. He hadn't really added any neither had Mega. They were a bit shy with meeting others. And now…

"Mega, you… you're only leaving in two weeks right?" Mega nodded in response, still packing so he didn't grab his notepad. "Alright… then when you're done with packing we can start making this the best two weeks of your life!" Mega gave him a thankful smile but then continued to pack. Skeppy sighed and stayed sitting there. 

After a minute of silence, Skeppy asked quietly, "Y-you won't go out of contact suddenly, r-right?" Mega blinked confused and looked over to the older. Skeppy had an upset expression, something he rarely had. He was hugging himself a little, and his eyes showed uneasiness. He still was hurt that Zelk hadn't stayed in contact. And Mega… Mega was leaving too and Skeppy would be alone.
