Sleepover

Prompt: "Can I sleep over? My parents are fighting again."

Quick note: I don't know ANY of these guy's home lives. I just wanted to write this and so I did. Please do not think I believe any of their home lives are/were terrible. I don't. I, again, just wanted to write the prompt, and so I did.

Mega sighed a bit, hearing the arguing from the other room was really bothering him. He hated loud noises, and his parents? Yeah, they were really loud.

The boy quickly grabbed his phone and opened messages. He typed, Hey, Zelk? You awake still?

He got a quick response, Yeah. Why? What's up?

Mega looked at the text for a bit… before sighing a little bit. He then typed down, Can I sleep over? My parents are arguing again. He then looked over his message and freaked out. He was just about to type Wait, no, nevermind they just stopped when Zelk gave him an answer.

Oh, sure! I'm actually having one with Skeppy and Spifey, Zelk responded, Make sure to wear socks! Mega rolled his eyes at the joke.

I'll see you soon, then, Mega typed. He then packed some essentials, wrote down something for his parents, and left. They didn't notice he left, both focused on the argument at hand.

Mega arrived in front of Zelk's house, sighing a bit. He held onto his bag of stuff tightly and knocked on the door. Who opened it was Skeppy, wearing his pjs. Skeppy grinned and pulled Mega in.

"The uncute mute is here!" Skeppy called to the others. Zelk and Spifey walked over and waved.

"Hey Mega! Great to see ya," Zelk said cheerfully. He then pulled the younger over, "C'mon! We were telling spooky stories." Mega just nodded a little bit, wondering if they were actually 'spooky' or if they were joking around with their stories. 

It was mostly the latter, Skeppy's story had been about a ghost duck, Zelk's had been about communism, and Spifey had actually tried a little bit. His was about a world where certain colors had become humanoid and went after certain individuals. It was pretty cool but Zelk made a joke where instead colors just killed you if you touched them.

"Hey, Mega," Spifey then said, "Do you have a story?" Mega looked at Spifey, a bit surprised that he was being included(he's basically intruding, isn't he?). 

Mega thought for a bit before writing in his notebook and showing it to the three, 'Fnaf's lore.' Spifey and Skeppy snickered while Zelk just groaned.

"Yeah but that's basically plagiarism," Zelk muttered, "Here, if you can make up your own story… I'll help you with homework for a week." Mega just gave him a look before shaking his head. "Two weeks." That made the mute consider it.

'Two and a half, half being Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,' Mega wrote. Zelk sighed and nodded, though mumbling, "You forgot the and." Everybody chuckled a little and Mega just thought for a bit before writing.

He showed them the story, though a little hesitant, 'Once upon a time, there lived a young boy. He lived a happy life with his parents. One day though, the parents started to turn to beasts at night. They never attacked the boy, only themselves. But it always scared the boy so he locked himself in his room… sometimes he would cry but he tried his hardest not to.' Mega, after seeing his friends worried expressions quickly turned the page of his notebook and wrote, 'I'm sorry, it wasn't that scary, was it? I shouldn't have trailed as far as I did.'

Skeppy shook his head and hugged his friend tightly, "No, no, you're fine!" He then looked at his friend straight in the eyes and asked, "How bad have your parents been fighting? I...I'm worried for you." Mega just looked down at his notebook before he cried a little. He was soon surrounded by hugs from all three and smiled thankfully. He was glad that he had friends like them. No matter how much they got on his nerves.
