Damon and Stefan were standing in each other's arms hugging
"I thought you were gone." Stefan said
"Well, you didn't think I was, "gone", gone, huh? I promised you an eternity of misery. They sacrificed themselves so I could come back. I don't want anyone to know. No sense making this harder than it already is." Damon told Stefan
"Whats are we gonna tell people?" Stefan asked and Damon told him "Mystic Falls, 1994?"
"I know. If witches were gonna get together and create some space-time purgatory you'd think they'd pick a better year than when Kurt Cobain killed himself. The whole think was just very depressing." Damon said
"So how did you get back?" Stefan asked
"Long time. Big glad of light, two decades worth of jet lag. I will explain my adventures in that flannel hellscape but first there's someone I gotta see." Damon said grabbing Stefans shoulders

Camilla woke up groggily to find herself lying on the couch with a blanket on it while Bonnie laid on the ground
"Oh, look who's awake. How do you feel?" Kai asked
"Like you shot me with an arrow." Camilla snapped
"Right. Anyhoo...I have no idea how you gone managed to shatter the ascendant into a billion pieces but we need to put it back together before the eclipse at 12:28. You wanna help?" Kai explained
"I don't wanna help. Besides you'll kill me the minute we get out." Camilla grumbled
"Why would I do that? I wouldn't kill you." Kai said
"But I knew you would heal yourself. See, I wouldn't kill you." Kai argued
Suddenly Kai was stabbed in the neck with a pen and he dropped to reveal Bonnie standing behind him
Bonnie quickly grabbed the pieces of the ascendant and put them in a bag
"Are you coming?" Bonnie asked and Camilla looked at Kai and gulped and ran after Bonnie

Bonnie and Camilla ran into the hospital looking for medication
"Pain killers." Camilla mumbled looking through the medicine cabinet as she had a skull piercing headache
Camilla poured two into her hand and just looked at it and poured two more and swallowed them dry
They started putting the pieces of the ascendant together
"An hour and 43 minutes." Camilla said looking at the clock
"Wheres the last piece?!" Bonnie asked as they were missing a piece
"This isn't happening." Camilla mumbled and suddenly all the lights turned off
"Looking for this?" Kai asked standing at the end of the corridor "You stole the ascendant, naughty girl. You weren't planning on using it and leaving me behind, were you? You left a trail of blood in the driveway. Figured where else would you play nurse?"
Camilla just focuses and all the windows around Kai shattered and he fell to the ground and medical equipment hit him
The two took of running outside and too the car
Bonnie turned the key but nothing happened and Camilla was extremely confused
Suddenly Kai popped up from behind the back seat and strangled Bonnie
"Get off me." Bonnie grunted
"I thought about taking the keys but it would like be taking huge cheese out of a mousetrap, right? Although, fun fact, mice don't actually like cheese." Kai said and Camilla was about to start chanting "Uh-uh. No witchy talk otherwise i'll snap her neck."
"So we have an hour until the eclipse. It's time to go home." Kai said smirking

They were all standing under the tunnels later and Bonnie was looking at one of the arrows
"Brought you a present. Miss cuddles. Though you might wanna bring her along." Kai said holding the teddy bear
"Thanks." Bonnie muttered
"I know you think i'm a monster. I mean, I did muster or heavily main most of my immediate family." Kai started to sad and Camilla grumbled "But after a long period of self reflection, i've come to the conclusion that I could've handled my anger better."
"You said you wanted to get out of here, and I quote: To give the rest of the Gemini coven an excruciating death." Camilla said
"Ah, I didn't mean it. Honestly, I would do anything to get my family back. And the thing I'm most scared of is trying to figure out how to live in the world again. I'm sort of hoping you've been a positive influence on me. You're a good person. You're brave, loyal, patient. I wanna be more like you." Kai said to Camilla and she raised her eyebrows with a bored look
"Let's just go home." Bonnie said and Kai chucked the bag into the light as he and Camilla stood beside Bonnie
"It's now or never." Kai said looking up
"Yep." Bonnie said and started chanting and Kai grabbed onto Bonnie hand as Camilla did the same
Camilla and Kai looked at each other and Kai smiled softly at her and she furrowed her eyebrows slightly and gave a small smile back
"What the hell is happening?" Kai asked as it didn't work
"I don't know." Bonnie said
"Keep going. Hurry." Kai instructed
"I can't. I've lost my magic." Bonnie said
"What are you talking about? You were just doing the spell." Kai said grabbing Bonnie trying to siphon her magic but nothing happened "There's nothing there. There's no magic."
"That's so strange. I wonder if I accidentally put it somewhere. Oh, I remember now. I put it somewhere safe." Bonnie said
"Where did you put your magic?" Kai asked and Camilla looked down to see Miss Cuddles wasn't there
"You remember saying you wanted to be more like us? Brave, loyal, patient." Bonnie said
"You put it on the bear. Didn't you? Where's the stupid bear?" Kai asked
"Oh, it's gone. I guess we're stuck here. Forever. Sorry." Bonnie said with fake sympathy
