Camilla was sitting on the couch in Alaric's apartment as Elena rushed around picking up all her things
"Calculator. Where's the calculator." Elena mumbled looking under things
Camilla just looked over at Kai who laid unconscious on a hospital bed across the room
"Of course. Under the catatonic serial killer." Elena said grabbing the calculator from under Kais arm
Just then the door opened and Damon walked in
"Hey." Damon said holding a bag
"Hey." Elena replied
"Sandwich?" Damon asked
"I can't. I'm late for my volunteer shift at the hospital." Elena said and took a bite out of the sandwich Damon was holding out
"Okay. Ooh, that's new." Damon said pointing at Elenas new daylight ring
"Cami made me a new daylight ring. You like?" Elena said
"Depends. Does it work?" Damon said and Camilla shot him a insulted look
"Well I'm here aren't I?" Elena asked
"Yeah inside in the shade." Damon added
"Seriously. Now you doubt me." Camilla commented
"Still counting sheep? Well whatever the hell you psychopaths dream of." Damon said while jabbing Kai
"Look Alaric's gone out of town to get some mystical thingy ma bob to give Jo an edge. And your job is to babysit Kai. Not smother him with a pillow." Elena explained
"Why me? You have her." Damon said pointing at Kai
"Well we all know how she has a thing for psychopaths." Elena commented and Camilla nodded in agreement
"Fine." Damon said
"And if he starts twitching or something just give him 50mg of phentobarbatol." Elena added
"Your so cute when your all doctorly." Damon said and the two smiled at each other while Camilla let out a fake gag "Your not free tonight by any chance are you? Cause I know this little italian joint that has eggplant so good you actually think you're eating people."
"And I happen to have a weird eggplant obsession." Elena said
"Perfect." Damon said smiling
"Great." Elena said and Camilla looked down
"And i'm thinking maybe after that we could go to the art house theatre. They're playing some pretentious french flicks." Damon added
