Im running towards the sea, I always went there with Dust.

I sit down on the sand in front of the sea, looking at the waves.

The sun went down and as soon as I saw the shadow in front of me, I knew.

"I'm not sorry I hit her," I admit.

I really don't.

After what she said.

"You are not supposed to," he replies back, coming to sit next to me.

The situation is so bad.

And between me and Dust, the situation is only getting worse.

That kiss in the room, in that moment I knew everything was ruined.

He presses me close to him, resting my head on his shoulder, and for the first time in a week I feel like I can let out a long breath, which I held.

We stayed there for two hours, without talking, looked at the small waves and kept quiet.

When we got home, I lay in bed and fell asleep, Dust went to his house and I spent most of this year at home.

"Eat something," he suggests, bringing me a plate full of Avery's food.

"I'm not hungry," I reply, pushing the plate away from me, just doing the homework that Teacher Jess gave in the class today.

I hate math.

"Hazel, you barely eat," he says, sounding worried.

He's here all the time.

He did not move from here for a fucking sec.

Trying to push food into my mouth and just to be here for me.

I told him I was fine, that he should go to be with his older friends, he didn't agree.

I didn't argue.

Because there is no one to talk to.

When Dust decides something, he decides, and this is the end of sentence.

"Come on," he says, demanding that I'll get up from my chair, leads me out of the house, to the center next to my house.

"A tablespoon of ice cream on the slice pizza, give it a chance ," he says, demonstrating to me as I make a sour face.

I do the same, put a tablespoon of ice cream on the pizza, bite reluctantly, but to be honest this thing is delicious, and even amazing.

"That's nice," I lie.
"I see your little lie on your face Hayze," he says and I smile for the first time since my mother was not here.

"Thank you," I say, biting the slice .

"I wanted to talk with you about something," he says and the smile goes straight down my face.

"Did something happen?" I ask, scratching my neck.

"Hey, calm down," he says, stroking my shoulder and noticing that my leg is shaking.

It's been like this for a long time.

I dont feel the same.

I'm not the same girl.

"I applied to college, and I wanted to consult with you, that's all," he says and I begin to relax.

"I thought something happened," I say, moving my hair behind my ear.

"I'm always here," he says, licking his lips, running a hand through his hair while I nod.

This moment in the room, I wont forget this moment.

This is the best feeling I've ever had in my life, and since then I have completed that I won't feel it again, not with Dust.
