Sixteen

The world was mostly
divided into two types
based on the
looks of people

Both were equally important
But still one was
inferior to other

We were killed
even before we
opened our eyes
and saw the world

We were burnt alive
because it was
the end of our
partners life.

We were not considered
neither our emotions
nor our actions

But, gradually the world
started becoming better
Because of our
fights and struggles

These fighters
were called feminists
It almost got eradicated
but not completely

We were made
for a reason
But blood stains remain red
even after so many rains.
