At first, I thought these would be the words that would crumble my entire world. I didn't think it could have gotten any worse than that. Boy was I wrong. If life was a story, I wouldn't be the main character. Because if I was, it... would be a tragedy

Narrator Pov

"AAAAAHHHH!" A scream is sounded as it echoes throughout the empty but large room with white and black checkered floor. We see a boy in tattered clothing screaming his lungs out as he is chained to a chair while a large man in a white suit holds some wire cutters and snips off the boy's fingers and toes and throws them in a bucket filled with fingers and toes that were snipped before. The skin by his wrists, raw from pulling on the chains tying him down. He whimpers as he counts backwards in sevens...

??? : ... 5-5-517...! A-AAAH! *sniff* ...5-5-510...! GAAAAAAH! *whimper*

???: Yes! More! Your regenerative ability! It's so... So... AMAZING! Oooh! I can't take this anymore! I wanna see you bleed more! I can right? Right?! IZUKU~!

Narrator deku Pov

Now you might be wondering how we got to this point. Well let's look back and see for ourselves...

~ 11 years prior ~

We see a young Izuku running around the house with an AllMight action figure looking for his mom...

Izuku: Mom! Mom! It's video time! Come on! Come on!

Inko: Already? Geez, I think you've already added a thousand views by yourself.

Inko Midoriya. A nice woman to everyone she came across. She put up the video and stepped back watching her son stare in awe at the video.

Bystander 1 : What the heck? It hasn't even been 10 minutes and he's already saved 100 people. That's crazy.

Bystander 2: Wait... Is he... Laughing?

Once he said that, a booming laugh echoed around the area as a bulky man carrying 11 people stood up from the rubble of the burning building...

??? : HAHAHAHAH! DO NOT FEAR! WHY? BECAUSE I AM HERE!!

Turns out, that was the debut of the world's no. 1 greatest hero, the Symbol of Peace, AllMight!

Izuku : Man, he's so cool. No matter what, he always saves the day with a smile on his face! When I get my quirk, I wanna be a hero just like him!

~Timeskip to a few days later ~

Doctor : Sorry but you should just give up your dream. You have no quirk.

Poor Izuku dropped his AllMight toy in shock as the doctor explained...

Doctor: You see, your son has an extra toe joint in his pinky toe, and research has shown that those with quirks don't have this joint. So with this we can conclude that your son is indeed quirkless.

The ride home was a silent one. Once they had gotten back, Izuku went up to his room and once again watched the video, only this time crying hard. He turned around giving his mom a pained smile saying...

Izuku : H-he always smiles no matter what. M-mom? D-do you think I-I can st-still be a hero?

His mom, heartbroken at the sight of her son, rushed to him while repeatedly saying she was sorry to him. This however was not what he wanted to hear. Not at all...
