15. USJ Part 1

Deku Pov

'This tension in the air... It really sucks...'

I thought as I stood at the doorway after entering the class. As soon as I had entered, the entire class had become quiet.

Izuku : H-hi guys!

Everyone : ... Hi...

Izuku : *sigh*

I walked up to my desk at the back and rested my head on it once I had sat down.
After some time, I started hearing whispers and murmurs about me going around.

Ashido : Uwah... Why is he still here?

Kirishima : Shouldn't he have been expelled for attacking the way he did?

Yaoyorozu : It is very perplexing...

Kaminari : Do you think he, like, threatened the teachers or something?

Sero : Of course not. And even if he did, AllMight would be able to take him out regardless. Didn't you see how he beat him in the training?

Kaminari : I guess that makes sense...

Izuku :Um, guys? You know I can hear you right? Enhanced hearing, y'know?

Students : ...

Izuku : ...

Mineta : UUUUWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! HE'S GONNA KILL US!!! PLEASE, AT LEAST LET ME FIRST FEEL THE GIRLS'-

He didn't get to finish as he got knocked out by Jiro. After that had occurred, they all fell silent.

I had thought of saying something but before I could, Aizawa had walked in, addressing the class.

Aizawa : Morning, class. Tomorrow we will be going to a separate facility for rescue training. The teachers will be myself, AllMight and one other. But for now, you guys need to pick a class and vice president. Do it however, just don't wake me up.

He said before zipping up his sleeping bag and falling to the ground out cold.

In the end, Iida and Yaoyorozu were picked and it was now lunch period. Everyone left and I followed. Since I couldnt eat the same food, I just sat at a table with Uraraka, Asui and Iida. As soon as I had tho, they gave me looks of disgust before taking their food and walking away from the table. I held my head down after that and sat in silence.

'Why? Why is the world so cruel? I can't help that I'm stuck with this kind of power. They all actively avoid me like the plague, like I'll attack them at any time... If they  knew what happened to me, would they still be so disturbed by my presence...?'

I thought before a deafening siren went off.

Robotic voice over loudspeakers : *Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg!* Alert! Alert! Intruders have infiltrated the premises! Evacuate!

Everyone, after hearing the announcement, dashed for the exit, pushing and knocking other's in their path. I ended up getting caught up in it before getting knocked against the windows where I saw the press being held back by the teachers.

'It's just the press? How would they have gotten past the gates?'

I thought before getting knocked again, away from the window this time. I kept getting knocked back and forth on the sea of students, until Iida managed to calm everyone down by using Uraraka's quirk to his advantage.

After that fiasco, lunch ended and class resumed as per normal.

The next day, we all waited in class for Aizawa to arrive and tell us how we'd go about the rescue training. Soon he arrived and told us to get in our hero suits and meet him outside.
