4: Sludgy Encounter

Okay, so the sludge villain incident is gon occur now coz thas how I'ms going to make it. It didn't happen earlier for this reason. Just a heads up if u get confusion.

Deku Pov

I woke up the next morning and did my usual routine for getting done for school. I looked in the bathroom mirror and saw my eye was normal but just for safety, I put an eyepatch over it. I finish up and quickly head out before my mom wakes up.

I get on the train to get me closer to the school and sit at the back. I put in my earphones and start listening to a song called "Murder to the mind". It takes a while before the artist starts singing but I enjoy listening to the build up of the song itself before it starts.

Once at my stop, I walk to the school and try to prepare myself for what was to come. As I entered, quite a few people kept glancing towards me.

'Must be because I was gone for a week... And that I'm wearing an eyepatch. I just hope they don't start with the bullying again...'

I think as I enter the class only for everyone's head to turn towards me. At the back I see Kacchan look to the door as well and he looks shocked before glaring at me as I begin to get scared of him. He then gets up and walks towards me.

Bakugo: Deku! What the hell are you doing here?! You don't show up for a week and then just casually pop up?! Nobody wants a quirkless loser here! And what's with the eyepatch?!

Izuku : K-kacchan! I-I-I was in the h-hospital!

Bakugo : And why the fuck would you need to go there?! Trying to make them feel sorry for your uselessness!

Izuku : N-no! I was -

I got cut off as he sent an explosion against the wall next to me. I looked at him in fear before I saw the reason he cut me off.

Teacher : Oh good morning Bakugo and Midoriya. Can you please get to your seats.

Before Kacchan left, he gave me a look that said "This isn't over" and left to his seat as I did the same. Class began and it was the same as always. Tiring. Though when it came to lunch break, I just sat down with nothing in front of me. Not getting me any less looks but I couldn't exactly help it. I mean, I-I can no longer e-eat normal food. O-only p-p-eople!

~Timeskip to end of day ~

As soon as class ended, I bolted out the door not wanting to feel the wrath of Kacchan, but I wasn't fast enough at he quickly caught up to me.

Bakugo: Oi! Damn Deku! Where the hell do you think you're going?! Huh?!

Izuku : K-kacchan! I-I didn't mean to runaway from you! I-it just my mom wanted me home early today!

Bakugo : Yeah right! You think I'll believe that pathetic excuse of a lie! We're not finished! Why were you in a hospital?!

Izuku : Y-you d-don't need to know!

I say before running away taking the shortcut under the bridge this time. Luckily I lost him and rested against the wall. Or at least I tried to before hearing wet sloshing behind me. It also smelt of sewage but intensified. As soon as I turned around, I was greeted by a green sludge like being staring at me.

Sludge villain : How nice! A medium sized meat cloak! With this I can hide from him!

He says as I freeze realizing this being was most likely a villain. He then lunged at me before holding me down and forcing his way down my throat. In a panick, I try and claw him out only for my hands to pass through him because of his sludge body. I begin to run out of breath as my vision starts to fade as I start losing consciousness. But just before I blacked out, saw a manhole cover shoot up before a buff man throws a punch towards the villain and it ends up exploding everywhere. After that, I blacked out.
