CHAPTER EIGHT

I hid more. Kung may papasok ditong isa, I'm dead. The door's locked. Puimek said I could trust Newwie, why did he locked me here?

That's when I noticed a knife beside me. Did...he left this accidentally? Or he actually left it for me?

Someone wearing a cap entered the room. I think it's Gunsmile, yan ang suot nya kanina.

"Ano, nasaan?" Tay asked him.

Gunsmile shook his head. He's not showing his face. My forehead knotted.

"Shit, Newwie! Why is he doing this?" Tay face-palmed and angrily kicked the person beside him. It's Mild.

"Ouch, epal." irap ng isa.

"Tss, pinapatagal pa. Patayan na kung patayan." Off said as he pulled a gun from his pocket and pointed it at Jane.

Jane closed her eyes and sobbed. Iniwas ko ang tingin ko at nagtago. I waited for the gun sound but it never came.

Dahan-dahan akong muling sumilip, only to find Gunsmile pointing his gun at Off. No, it's not Gunsmile....Newwie?!

"What the hell are you doing, bro?" Win asked him. Mabilis na bumunot ng kutsilyo si Bright at isinaksak sa braso ni New.

Everyone panicked. Nagkagulo na ang lahat. I saw Sing fighting with Boun while Prem was helping his boyfriend.

Newwie fired the gun dahilan para mapatakip ako ng tainga. Everyone's a mess! Pero nagulat ako ng itinutok ni Arm ang baril kay Off.

"A-Arm, pare. Ano yan?" Off asked.

Arm smirked before pulling the trigger. Bago pa matamaan si Off ay naitulak na ni Gun si Arm paupo sa sahig. The bullet hit Off's right leg.

"What the hell's wrong with you, Arm?" galit na galit na sigaw ni Off habang iniinda ang sakit.

"Kasalanan ng Papa kung bakit namatay ang Papa ko! You should die! Die---"

Impit ang tili ko nang tinuluyan siyang barilin ni Bright sa ulo. Arm dropped on the floor.

"Ang ingay." Bright said.

"Argh!" Win grunted as Mild stabbed him at the back. Nanlaki ang mukha ni Bright at akmang dadaluhan si Win nang itinutok din ni Off ang baril sa kanya.

"Don't touch her." si Off.

Mild stared at Arm's body and cried. Galit na galit na tumingin siya kay Bright.

"You killed my friend so it means I can also kill yours." Mild told him.

Sa gilid ay nakahandusay na si Boun at si Prem naman ang kaaway ni Sing. Lahat sila ay abala.

I waited for my cue. I needed to save Jane and Nanon. They were tied. I shouldn't be useless.

Tinignan ko kung sino ang pinakamalapit. Its's Gun. Tahimik siyang nakatayo habang nagbabangayan ang iba.

I then slowly crawled inside the room. Abot-kamay ko na ang tali ni Nanon nang may sumipa sa likuran ko.

Napaigik ako sa sakit. How dare you, nerd!

Mabilis akong tumayo at iwinasiwas ang kutsilyo sa kanya. Panay ang salag nya sa akin. I managed to leave a cut on his cheeks kaya mas lalo syang nagalit. Naagaw niya sa akin ang kutsilyo.

He was about to stabbed me when Sing appeared at his back and throw him at the corner.

Hindi na ako nagaksaya ng oras at kinalagan ko na sina Jane. Jane was crying hysterically while Nanon was unconcious.

Mabilis na tumakbo si Jane, dala-dala si Nanon. I helped her and was about to leave the room when I noticed one person.

He's at the center. He's not moving, not even talking.

"Tay..." New trailed off.

Tay clenched his fist and looked at him.

"I'm sorry but you have to stop. Hindi pa huli---"

"Hindi mo maiintindihan! I need them in my life! Sila ang palaging nandyan nung wala ka! Why are you even stopping us!"

"Dahil mali! Your friends were killing people! Sila ba? Sila ba ang kaibigan na sinasabi mo? Kung hindi ka lang mayaman, hindi ka nila lalapitan!"

Mean appeared in front of us. He helped the two instead. I muttered a 'thanks' before looking back at Tay.

His shoulders were shaking while he's looking down. Newwie sighed and pointed at the room.

"Look everywhere, Tay. Eto ba ang gusto mo?" Newwie asked him.

Win's dead. Arm's dead. Off and Mild were all covered with blood. Gunsmile's probably dead. Gun...he's unconcious.

I cried harder when I saw Kao, lying on the floor. He's dead too. Boun and Prem, I don't know if they're dead or not. They fought Sing so I hoped they're still alive.

I shook my head.

Classmates? Friends? Nah. All I see is betrayal. They betrayed each other.

They do this for fun.

I breathed heavily when I heard a familiar siren outside, followed by the lights. Finally...

"Namtan!"

I blinked twice when someone tapped my shoulders.

"Pui..."

I looked around and that's when I realized na nakaupo na kami sa labas ng silid. Some authority were cleaning up the mess that we'd made. Police and investigators were everywhere.

"Saan ka galing?" tanong ko.

Puimek sighed. "I called for help."

I nodded. I'm dizzy.

Memories flashed in my mind. Unti-unting bumuhos ang luha ko.

I never seen anything this brutal. Ano ba itong pinasok ko?

"Where are they?" I asked, looking for Newwie and the others.

"Sumama si Newwie sa prisinto. All of them ay papunta na doon. They'll surely be in jail...including Sing." she explained.

Mabilis naman akong nataranta. Why Sing?

"He killed Prigkhing." dagdag niya.

Nanlaki naman ang mga mata ko sa narinig. Ano pa, ano pang di ko alam?
