The Origin of the Time Eater

Discovering

Tails was in charge of studying the creature, he asked him questions to find some way to discover if he was really the Time Eater or some similar creature, but he could not find anything new. He did analysis to know more about his composition, it was like a dark cloud, but he seemed to have complete control over it, his composition is similar to the Time Eater, but the monster seemed corrupted when they faced it. Did Eggman try to restore it? Why? What would he get out of that? Was it the metal parts that corrupted him? Is he really someone completely different now, or was he always like this? He knew that none of these questions would be answered by the creature, at least not in its current state. I also notice certain changes, his "form" was getting stronger, is it? Even being little by little, his energy was increasing over time, but it was still too weak. Maybe that's why it took so many years to find him since that day.

Tails receives visits from Sonic, Shadow and Rouge from time to time in his laboratory since they took the creature, he told them about the little progress he was making. Once during these visits Rouge came up with information, or at least, lack of it:
