I was sitting at the dining room table holding a warm coffee cup in my hand as I looked through my college application.

I was finally doing it!!

I've been putting it off since I've come here, for obvious reasons. But now I was finally going back to college to finish what I started.
If I'm sticking around I want to do something with myself.
Maybe the push I needed was hearing what Zach's Grandmother said about me last week at dinner, I don't know.
What matters is I'm taking the step and I'm doing this.

"Morning Beautiful!!"

I looked up at Zach as he crossed the room, dressed in his suit and ready for the day ahead."Morning."

He pointed to the forms on the table."What are you doing there?"

"College application Forms. I really want to go back and get my degree, just like I've been taking about.
Hopefully I'll get accepted."

He stood in the kitchen pouring his coffee."You will get accepted."
Zach turned around and looked over at me."This isn't about what my Grandmother said is it?"

"No, I want this."

"Alright, Anything you need just let me know. I can help you with tuition."

"No!!"I answered, abruptly."Im sorry, it's just I have my own money.
I smiled at him."But thank you for the offer."

"Alright."Zach walked towards the dinning table.
"My Grandmother's party is tonight. Have you decided if you are going to come?"

I shrugged my shoulders in reply.
Zach's Grandmother called him to apologise for the dinner last week, I don't know if to believe it or not.
She obviously feels a certain way about me, that didn't just change over the course of a week.

"I think maybe it would do more harm than good if I went, I don't want to cause anything on her Birthday."

He nodded in agreement."I would like you to go..But I understand.
You don't owe her anything. The choice is yours."
Zach looked down at the time on his expensive watch."I should get going."

"Can I talk to you about something quickly before you go?"

He was placing his empty cup in the sink and grabbing his things."Sure."

"Me living here..It was never supposed to be a permanent thing. We are a couple now, but I wasn't sure if I should be looking for my own place."I explained.

"No, Of course not. I think we're pretty good as we are, Don't you?"

I grinned."Yes!!"

He grinned back."Then there's no need to change anything, let's stay how we are. I like coming home to you everyday."
Zach towered over me as he kissed me."Love You."

"Love You, Too."

And just like that he was gone, out the door for a long day at work.
I rested back in the dinning room chair with a sigh, while giving max a rub on the head.

Having Zach's Grandmother's party tonight was making me think back on Liam's parents Anniversary party.
I didn't want to go to that either but I went to please him..

FLASHBACK

I was standing in front of my mirror looking at the new red dress I was wearing.
Tonight was Liam's Parent's Anniversary party and I wasn't keen on attending at all.
His family is well off and they have no problem showing it, they always find a way to belittle me and make me feel worthless.
I recall a time where his Mother even went as far as calling me Little Orphan Annie, because I have no one in my life.
