It was another boring day in the small town Y/N lived in. Peg knocking on the doors trying to sell products and Joyce having someone over to try and satisfy her needs. As always, Peg didn't sell anything and Y/N sat at her desk, sketching out a design that had came to her. It wasn't pretty, but it didn't matter to her since she was proud of it.
"Y/N, darling, could you please give this dish back to Peg? Oh, and please tell her thank you." Y/N nodded before pulling her long hair (if u don't have long hair just pretends for the stories)back and taking the dish. Walking to the Bogg's house, she knocked on the door.
"It's open!" She walked in, placing the dish down onto the counter. Walking towards the living room, she heard shuffling coming from Kim's room. Curiosity took over her as she walked down the hall into the room. What she saw made her giggle. A boy, struggling to put on a button up shirt."Would you like some help with that?" She asked, making the boy look at her.
"Thank you." Y/N then helped, fixing the shirt and buttoning it up. Once done, she got a good look at him. He was very pale, and had scars littering his face. He had the messy black hair that looked as if it had never been combed before and the purest big brown eyes. Y/N then noticed he had scissors for hands. she gasped.
"Oh my. A-Are those your hands?" She stared at them, wondering what had happened.
"I'm not finished." He simply said. Y/N hummed, before getting startled by Peg. Peg had asked what she was doing there as Y/N smiled before telling her she came to give the dish back."Oh! Oh, Y/N this is Edward. Edward this is Y/N." Y/N smiled, before taking one of his wrists and shaking it.
"Pleasure to meet you. Well, Peg. Thank you for the food, it was wonderful. I'll be going now."
"Oh yes, dear. Tell you mom I said hi." Y/N nodded, before walking out of the house and making her way home.

The next morning, Y/N woke up with a jolt. Her mother was in her room, looking through her closet.
"Can I help you mom?" She asked, causing her mother to yelp.
"Er- Well- I was just looking for um... something." Something? Y/N sighed, knowing what her mother was looking for.
"Mom, I keep it here. I want it to be safe so, I put it here." Y/N pulled back what seemed to be a bookshelf opening it and taking out a box.A box that had every little trinket her late father had given to her. All the photos they had together and even his wedding ring. She held onto everything he had ever given her, because she wanted to have some part of him still with her. Y/N's mother picked up her husband's ring, before taking it away.
"Mom?" Her mother turned and smiled, walking back to her room. Confused, Y/N closed the box and placed it back. Walking out of her room, she poured herself some sugary cereal for her breakfast. It was quiet in their house, it always was. Usually Y/N father would be cracking jokes or having the radio on, but after he died, the house got so quiet. Y/N sighed, gulping down the milk before starting her chores. She placed the dry plate back in their place, cleaned the dirty ones, cleaned the counters and swept the floor. She kept busy until her mother walked into the room. She motioned Y/N to come to her.
"I know it's a little early for this, but I just thought it was best to give it to you now." Her mother pulled out a necklace that had both husband and wife rings.
"Mom! I-I don't- I don't understand. Why now? You and dad always said I'd get them when I was gonna tie the knot with someone." Her mom laughed, saying she had changed her mind. She placed it on Y/N, before finishing up the rest of the chores her daughter didn't finish.

Y/N hadn't known, but Kevin had a small crush on her. They sat next to the radio outside, listening to a game. Edward had came outside and had noticed two things. Y/N sitting on the grass and Bill cutting the bushes. Y/N waved towards Edward, before going back to weaving bit of grass as she had no interest in sports.
"Turn it up Kev." Bill said, as he cut a few branches sticking out. Y/N spaced out, deep in thought. Not a smart thought, it was quite stupid actually, but we all have those moments. It wasn't until she heard Kevin tell his dad to look somewhere, did she look up at Edward. He had cut another bush in their backyard into a dinosaur. If this were to a cartoon, Y/n thought, her eyes would be sparkling or have stars in them. She was amazed at how well cut it was.
"I-It's so cool"
"Thank you." Edward smiled at Y/N comment. After awhile of starring and observing, Edward and carved the Boggs Family. As Peg and the rest admired it, Esmeralda had come, speaking the 'word of God' as Y/N remembered her saying once.
"It's not heaven he's from! It's straight from the stinking flames of hell! The power of satin is in him, I can feel it. Can't you? Have you poor sheep strayed so far from the path?" Edward walked towards her.
"We're not sheep." He simply stated. Y/N had cover her mouth before she laughed. Esmeralda left, allowing Y/N to laugh. She laughed, thinking it was hilarious and adorable-Adorable? Y/N mentally took a step back. Had she just call Edwards remark adorable? She shook the thought out of her head, as Peg went inside to check who was at the door.
"Y/N we're gonna play a few card games. You want in?" Kevin shook the deck of cards. Y/N shrugged her shoulders, saying she'd only play a game called speed*.Y/N loved this game, as she was very quick when it came to finishing her deck. After a few rounds, Peg had asked for help in the kitchen. Y/N got up from her seat and went in along with Edward.
"Edward, you can cut the lettuce, Y/N you can make the potato salad." Y/N got to work, adding whatever you add in a potato salad(I'm mexican! I don't know any american recipes!)
Y/N turned around, salad finished, to see Edward had accidentally cut himself. She grabbed a kitchen cloth, wiping away the blood.
"Thank you, Y/N." That was the first time he had said her name. Y/N could feel her cheeks warm up.
"Oh Edward, you didn't have to cut the whole lettuce up. Well... it's alright." Y/N giggled, before helping setting up tables outside.
Ay! Wassup you rubber duckies!!! I've started school again and it sucks!!! I have no idea what we're doing so.... That's fun! Also...I wanted to explain was speed is.
Yeah... the way i play u don't shout Speed, u just have to finish up up ur deck(I'm so sorry its a wikihow). Oh and also one thing they forgot to mention, If u and ur opponent run out of the 5 cards to turn over, then take the cards in the middle and evenly split and start playing again.(if that makes sense)
Anyways, I'll see you guys next time I upload a chapter cuz like I said, I have school.
