(Brittany's POV)

"I broke up with Celeste. For good this time."

She looked down at her hands. They were shaking. Not too much but it was noticeable. I didn't know what to say. I was happy for her of course. But I was also concerned. And now that I look at her closer, her eyes looked a little puffy. Like she had been crying.

"I-I uh" I stuttered. I didn't know what to say or do. What I could ask. I don't like asking if your okay because that just makes you feel worse. But what can you really ask in a moment like this? I was about to speak up again but was cut off.

"I'm okay, Britt." She looked over at me with a weak smile. I shook my head moving closer.

"A-are you sure? What happened?" She let out a small giggle. "I told her to meet me at Breadstix and she did obviously. And I just told her straight up that I couldn't do this back and forth anymore. It was hard, but it was what needed to happen." She let out a shaky breath. "When I got home I cried. A lot, actually." I didn't like that. She was alone and crying. That made me sad. And I don't like being sad. I rested my hand on her knee. She looked down at it. Oh shit I shouldn't have done that. She probably thinks I'm an asshole now! Being all over her right after she broke up with her girlfriend. Just when I was about to move it she put her hand on top of mine. I smiled.

"So what are your plans for tonight?" I was curious. I didn't want her just staying home and moping all day. "Nothing" she shrugged. "I was probably just gonna go home and crash." I smirked to myself. "No your not." I exclaimed getting up. She looked at me with a confused expression. "We" I started, reaching my hand out for her to stand up. "Are going out." I smiled at her. She just giggled and shook her head. "Britt you don't have to-" I cut her off.

"I want to." She looked at the ground bashfully. I wanted to do something nice for her. I mean this was a serious thing! She just broke up with her manipulative girlfriend! For good! What's not to celebrate?!

I smiled and walked over to my closet. I pulled out a red plaid tight fitting dress that was too small for me. I turned around and handed it to her. "This should fit, it's a little small on me." She took the piece of clothing in her hands. "Your really serious about this?" She cocked her eyebrow at me.

"Very."

I was sitting on a stool in front of Quinn's bathroom mirror as she finished my hair. She insisted that she did my hair. Since she's pregnant she doesn't really go out or get dressed up anymore so she really enjoys it.

"Alrighty all done!" She smiled as she curled the last piece of hair. I looked at her through the mirror and smiled back.

"Where's Santana?" She asked putting the curling iron away. "She's in my bathroom getting ready." I got up and did a once over of my self in the mirror. I had on a navy blue tight dress that stopped mid thigh. I smiled and looked back at Quinn who was also admiring me through the mirror. "Thank you, Q." I gave her a quick peck on the cheek and walked out of the bathroom.

I walked into my room to see Santana standing at the end of my bed looking at herself in the mirror. My jaw dropped. She looked incredible. The dress hugged her curves just right and her hair was straightened. It cascaded down her back. Her makeup was darker. More smoky. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard her chuckle. She looked at me through the mirror.

"How do I look?" She asked smoothing her dress down. I swallowed thickly.

"Uh y-you uh" I stuttered. Jeez Brittany get it together. She smirked at me once more and turned around to face me. "You okay, stutters?" She giggled. I looked away from her, trying to hide my blush. She giggled once more.

"You look amazing." She was the one blushing now. It's funny how she goes from being cocky and confident to timid and absolutely adorable in a matter of seconds.

"Thanks." She smiled. Her smile. I can't get enough of it. It's just. Ugh!

"Okay zip your pants up I'm coming in!" I heard Quinn yell from the other side of the door. Santana laughed and I just rolled my eyes playfully. She walked in and immediately gasped. "Oh my- Santana you look amazing." Santana blushed. "Thanks Q." Quinn gave her a sweet smile. "So where do y'all plan on going?" Quinn sat on the bed looking between Santana and I. "Wouldn't you like to know." I smirked. I would tell her but Santana was standing right there and I want it to be a surprise. She huffed and got up. "Fine, but I expect pictures." She smiled and walked out of the room. I looked back over to Santana.

"Ready?"

———

It was around 7:30 by the time we arrived at our destination. It took a while because we walked. Quinn still doesn't trust me with her car. I felt bad because we were walking in heels for about 20 minutes, but Santana didn't seem to mind. It was like she didn't care that I didn't drive or cook. She just enjoyed being their with me. And that made me really happy.

"Here we are!" I said excitedly. She studied the front gate that read 'Outsiders'. She smiled.

"Is this what I think it is?" I looked over at her and smiled. Outsiders is an outdoor dancing club. There's a dance floor and vanities with lights and a tiki bar. It's pretty magical.

"You like it?" I asked. She gave me that smile. The one where her cheeks bunch up and her nose scrunches.

"It's amazing." And with that we payed and walked in.
